If you find yourself joining a gym, the first question you should ask is, how come I didn't find myself years ago?

A gym is soul destroying. Never been so bored in my life and the bloody noise. Mental.

Oh, very transcendental!
I have NO BELIEF in the existence of a God or gods. I do not have to offer evidence nor do I have to determine absence of evidence because I do not ASSERT that a God does or does not or gods do or do not exist.

The water flows, yet the river remains. You cannot find yourself years ago because you were not there.

Personally, I've joined a gym because I don't have the room / funds for a squat rack, lifting platform, bench and barbell plus 240-odd kg worth of iron plates. Plus, I'm one of those few people who actually do get their money's worth - been going 3 times a week for the past 8 yrs or so (although not entirely consistently if I'm being honest). The gym I go to is independent as well rather than a chain, so that makes it a bit cheaper (and better!).
