Thanks for the link, wow he is a strong man to have come through all that abuse, his nasty father belongs in a straight jacket or in a jail cell and should never be allowed near children.

I agree, the fact that Fred Phelps is allowed access to children without supervision is yet another testament to the fact that America walks on far too many egg shells when it comes to religion--Christianity in particular.

It's not just America - many places still don't really want to mess with religion.
I always felt kind of sick when I saw videos/pics of the Phelps family out with their kids forcing them to picket. I applaud Nate Phelps for escaping, getting on with his life and speaking about his experience.
