Sounds like something that should be taken on Faith - especially Faith with a totally unnecessary capitalization, because that's a special kind of faith.

Perhaps Trev mistook the defensive gesticulations of one of the many officers having the shit beaten out of them as indication that they wanted it.

Oh, I expected you might guess something like that.

I'll break down the problem for you. First, the question: How did life begin?

Here's the difference between you, and me and my family. Faced with the same problem, I am good with admitting what I do not know. It's a puzzle, isn't it? The next step is where you fail. Where I and my sons, when faced with a question, we seek answers we can then test for veracity (it's a big word that means truth). You, on the other hand, are satisfied with magic.

Now, I really could not care less how your life turns out, assuming you are even a human. But, you should know that your magic has zero predictive ability to solve any problems. You babble on about citations and science, as if you understand the process, but are perfectly happy with a "goddidit" whenever the problem gets too hard to figure out.

Want proof? Your own bible clearly claims prayer has the ability to precipitate miracles. Move mountains, is what is claimed. All you need do is produce the ability to get your god to regrow limbs people have had amputated or blown off. That can't be nearly as big a push as moving mountains, can it?

So, make it happen. Demonstrate the existence of your god or get the fuck out of here with your supernatural claims and threats. I have bits of my own body that have been removed. You can start there. Get your god to regrow my wisdom teeth.

Put up, or shut up.

Atheism: the belief that life is made of non-living stuff!

Oh wait, no that's obviously manipulative shit made up by someone entirely fucking hostile to honesty, whose only agenda is a perverse need to express his vacuous prejudice towards complete strangers on the internet.

Atheists are, of course, welcome to believe in all manner of things - because atheism is a privative, not a believe system, and the one thing that they share is that they don't believe is a magical man in the sky wiggled his ineffable nose and conjured up the universe from nothing.

As opposed to Eternal Sky Pixie, sitting outside time and space twiddling his ineffable thumbs, then wiggling his nose and conjuring everything up from nothing.

Yeah, real competition there Trev.

Trump Curse Victim #6

#6) Actor Robert De Niro: De Niro's personal and financial life began disintegrating even before Trump left office. De Niro is well known for speaking straight into the camera and saying, "I'd like to punch him (Trump) in the nose." Now his marriage and finances have been punched in their respective noses, so to speak.

De Niro's affliction with Trump Derangement Syndrome was made obvious right from the start of Trump's election win in November 2016 and even before. De Niro became known as one of the entertainment industry's most outspoken critics of Trump, even calling for Trump's impeachment during the Russia Collusion investigation (which we now know was a hoax perpetrated by the Hillary Clinton campaign in her attempt to win the presidential election of 2016).

De Niro went on to write an article for The Washington Post about his feelings toward Trump, stating "I...would have channeled my inner rage at the years of Donald Trump's illegal and immoral acts, and I would have been more in touch with my fury after two years of Trump and his stooges accusing me of running a witch hunt." In 2018 at the Tony Awards, De Niro dropped some f-bombs and exclaimed "***** Trump!".

De Niro went on to imitate Russia Collusion (Hoax) Special Counsel, Robert Mueller, on the Saturday Night Live show skits to knock Donald Trump and son Eric Trump at every opportunity and called it his "civic duty to do that part". De Niro eventually earned an Emmy Nomination for his impassioned performances alongside Alec Baldwin (acting as Trump), with both men ruthlessly mocking Trump. Now look at how those two Cursed men have fallen in their respective lives - and so suddenly!

Before Trump became POTUS, De Niro's off-again, on-again 20-year marriage to New York socialite, actress, and philanthropist Grace Hightower seemed to be back on track and De Niro seemed happy and settled in his personal life, including his very profitable high-profile restaurant and hotel businesses. That is, until he began his very public tirades against then President-elect Trump immediately following the USA national election in November 2016. Now, his marriage has ended acrimoniously and many of the 46 restaurants and 13 luxury hotels he co-owns worldwide are reported to be under financial distress.

His marriage to his second wife Grace Hightower came to an end when they separated in November 2018 after over 20 years of marriage and almost exactly 2 years after his very public anti-Trump tirades began. He lost his main residence - his luxurious 6000 square foot Central Park West apartment in the best zip code of New York City had to be sold off as part of the divorce agreement and part of the proceeds of the sale were required to purchase Hightower a home of her own.

The judge in the divorce proceedings initially required De Niro to give Hightower a monthly allowance of $375,000. But due to the financial distress of his businesses, De Niro initially had to decrease the allowance down to $100,000 per month, and the latest decrease is down to $50,00 per month. Exactly how much income De Niro has lost from his businesses is not clear but what is clear is that his cuts to his ex-wife's allowances have had to be justified in court. These major cuts clearly show his income is decreasing, substantially.

In July 2020, his reputation also took a big hit in the eyes of the public when it was disclosed that his restaurants took-in $millions of Federal Covid19 Relief assistance moneys meant for smaller businesses, which were suffering because larger, wealthier businesses, like his, exhausted the fund pool. This was a public relations disaster.

Quick Summary: De Niro's later life had been more glamorous than his earlier years solely as an actor, until now. Besides his busy acting schedule, making more movies than ever, he had added multiple restaurant and hotel businesses to his lineup. Then came his downfall.

Taken separately, a divorce, and now failing businesses, is nothing unusual. However, getting a divorce after 20 years AND having multiple businesses suddenly failing, all within the narrow window of the last 2 years of Trump's 4-year term as POTUS has been unusually difficult and the most difficult 2 years of De Niro's adult life.

Because of this sudden and very public downfall from the height of his multiple and highly successful careers, secular media outlets have taken notice, causing some to report this to be yet another unfortunate outcome of the "urban legend" known as The Trump Curse.

When we reject our Creator and Protector, we do so at our own peril, and this opens the door for Satan to steal, kill, and destroy our lives.

And don't blame God for this; WE refused His protection and opened our own door for SATAN to come in. As adults, we make our choices and live with the consequences. No blame-shifting here.

Victim #7 on The Trump Curse List to come in the near future...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Decline_o ... tern_world

The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) lost about 30% of its congregation and closed 12.5% of its churches: the United Methodist church lost 16.7% of its congregation and 10.2% of its churches. The Presbyterian Church has had the sharpest decline in church membership: between 2000 and 2015 they lost over 40% of their congregation and 15.4% of their churches.[51] Infant baptism has also decreased; nationwide, Catholic baptisms are down by nearly 34%, and ELCA baptisms by over 40%.[51]

And the reason, I suspect, is witnessing people like Trev here use their beliefs to be utter asshats to strangers. I expect that most people don't feel that this kind of 'Christianity' represents them or their beliefs. Of course, it's not actually Christianity - it's just bigotry desperate for the veneer of legitimacy that the same bigots believe that traditional beliefs lend them.

I'm not inviting anyone to become a Christian, especially on this forum, lol. And I do mean LOL !

No one can be invited. A person needs to be invited by God. Not me. LOL again!

On this forum I am allowed to defend and clarify my position, especially when my words are taken out of context or purposely twisted or misrepresented by others, such as yourself. This happens daily. Are you entitled to do that?

If your only defense is to shut down discussion, or to shut down views different from your own, which is pathetic, why are you here?

The word "bigot" is thrown around these days like calling someone a Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal, Right wing or Left wing, LOL.

So, I want to give you the chance to clarify your position that I am a bigot:

1) Define bigotry
2) Quote my words, specifically, to DEMONSTRATE I am being a bigot. Give the thread title, post number, and quote.
3) Explain why you believe my words match the definition of "bigot".

And in return, I will show you similar words and quotes used by atheists toward myself, where you failed to call them out as bigots, and failed to apply your definition of 'bigot' to their similar statements, thus proving your hypocrisy and revealing that 'bigot' only applies to certain individuals or groups, and therefore not applied equally.

What a crock of shit.

Can you read the forum user's agreement?

It is absolutely clear what I was referring to:

truelgbt wrote: When we reject our Creator and Protector, we do so at our own peril, and this opens the door for Satan to steal, kill, and destroy our lives.

Forum User Agreement wrote:In particular you may not overtly or covertly imply that other members are sinners or that they are likely to experience religious or other supernatural consequences for their thoughts, words, or actions.

Your fantastic horseshit has precisely fuck all consequences because it is a fairy tale for adults lacking critical thinking skills, so no, there is no perilous consequence to 'rejecting' the fictional Sky Papa, and you can shove it right back where you extracted it from. You agreed on joining this forum not to engage in such pathetic attempts at bullying people into submission via supernatural claptrap, so stop it Trev.

truelgbt wrote: On this forum I am allowed to defend and clarify my position,...

Good luck trying to claim that your foray into supernatural threats above had anything at all to do with either defending or clarifying your position.

truelgbt wrote: especially when my words are taken out of context or purposely twisted or misrepresented by others, such as yourself. This happens daily. Are you entitled to do that?

I see you've not even bothered to attempt to present any evidence for this supposedly daily event. Do feel free to find the relevant forum user agreement rule I am supposedly breaking and then hit the alert button to point it out to the moderators.

truelgbt wrote:If your only defense is to shut down discussion, or to shut down views different from your own, which is pathetic, why are you here?

You don't have any discussion other than to engage in mindless bigotry against people here because they don't conform to your mystical pap.

truelgbt wrote:The word "bigot" is thrown around these days like calling someone a Republican or Democrat, Conservative or Liberal, Right wing or Left wing, LOL.

Oh really? You routinely find yourself being labeled a bigot, do you?

Literally never happens to me.

Perhaps it's because the spade is actually a spade?

truelgbt wrote:So, I want to give you the chance to clarify your position that I am a bigot:

You are in no position to give me anything. I am not remotely obliged to perform tricks on your demand, as I've told you before.

truelgbt wrote: 1) Define bigotry

Enjoy reading a dictionary.

truelgbt wrote:2) Quote my words, specifically, to DEMONSTRATE I am being a bigot. Give the thread title, post number, and quote.

Feel free to look at every instance of me calling out your vapid bigotry and note that in EACH instance, I have directly quoted the words which led me to dismiss you and your spiteful ravings. You know, if you can be bothered to read anything other than your vitriolic drool.

truelgbt wrote:3) Explain why you believe my words match the definition of "bigot".

The Department of Redundancy Department's statutes are not required here.

truelgbt wrote:And in return, I will show you similar words and quotes used by atheists toward myself, where you failed to call them out as bigots, and failed to apply your definition of 'bigot' to their similar statements, thus proving your hypocrisy and revealing that 'bigot' only applies to certain individuals or groups, and therefore not applied equally.

Your cretinous jabbering is perfectly transparent to everyone here, Trev. You're no different than a thousand other stormtroopers for doctrine who can't bear the existence of people who don't conform to your beliefs.

I will continue to call out your bigotry each and every time I see it, and you will either like it or lump it. Or, you know, you could grow the fuck up and stop rehearsing your petty bigotry on the internet to complete strangers.
