I have NO BELIEF in the existence of a God or gods. I do not have to offer evidence nor do I have to determine absence of evidence because I do not ASSERT that a God does or does not or gods do or do not exist.

I asked that question when I was a kid. Not as an attempt to refute the theory of evolution, but I was genuinely curious. Someone told me humans evolved from monkeys. And I wanted to know why there still were some monkeys left. After many years, I learned the answer. Evolution was never part of our curriculum (I'm from Bangladesh). It still isn't. :(

With a certain vibration.
We vibrate with a plant, a mineral or an animal."

She needs hitting on the head with a leather-bound book 40 times... It's the only way to dilute this nonsense. (It's gotta be leather otherwise it won't work). :snooty:

Oh, wait! That will make her nonsensical garbage even more powerful...

Driving around yesterday by a farmer's market and saw some Muslims with a sign that read "Muslims love Jesus too" One of the guys, looked like he was drugged out of his mind as he waved frantically to everyone. His were hands raised like the voices in his head were all talking to him at once.

Well, they do regard him as a prophet. Still batty, but not against islamic dogma.

I understand that. They would be more accurate in saying, "We love our Jesus, not yours."

Griz_ wrote:"If people evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?"

We're all familiar with the above quote but I actually had the experience of hearing someone say it with a straight face. We had a student working for us a few years back who was studying anthropology. I noticed a picture of a skull in the textbook she was reading (no problem for them to get some reading in as long as the work is getting done) and recognized it as a very old human form. I asked what it was and we talked about her studies. A nearby coworker said; "If people evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?" We looked at him and he had a very proud look on his face that seemed to say; Ha! You foolish people, I can destroy your ridiculous theory with a mere sentence. Take that! The look her and I exchanged was priceless. Neither of attacked him in any way, we just talked to him with the common goal of determining if he was serious or not. He was!

The rejoinder I always use is

"If I am descended from my grandmother, then why do I still have cousins?"

Just for the simple fact - it simply doesn't matter.

It's natural to man to love woman and woman to love man. If people are the other way inclined thats completely up to them and I'm not one to judge, but why should Blizzard go to an effort just to show they support gays? I just don't think they care lol!
