Program on Kurdish TV

Hello Guys

I have just been watching a program on Kurdish TV regarding Women Issues and rights ..etc.

They had two speakers, one an islamic theologian and the other just a women who had done some research into the subject, but was again in support of Islam ..etc >> the program presenter was also in favour of Islam.

Anyways they were discussing why so many Kurdish women in Southern Kurdland were setting themselves on fire. Obviously they all know the reasons, but they were discussing how it is stupid to do so. The theologian was saying:

Such women tend to always go to the extreme point. These women have options one to ten, but they always jump to 10 (extreme) without going through the options starting at one

When the subject moved on to family problems and how women would set themselves on fire because of a cheating husband, or not getting along with each other, he then said:

Often problems occur because women would come into the man's territory of life. This is wrong. God (Allah) has set roles for women and different roles for men. If people listen to God then such problems won't occur.

What are your thoughts on this ?

Thank You.
