you do and i do and every individual does according to our own lights. before we knew enough to decide for ourselves, we were browbeaten by charlatans. once grown up, we can make up our own minds.

An entity that does not exist can't have any works or productions. "Productions" of god's are either made up shit, or real phenomena that the ancients could not understand-like Thor's lightning.

Well, obviously, the people who believe in gods. Especially priests and other clerics.

The OP was defining god as the definer of good works, but as people can define what is good or bad independent of gods, then it is clear that morality is not dependent n such gods.

the op asks 'who defines what the good works are?' and i assert that we are, independently of outside influences temporal, or spiritual.

i decide if i'm going to make myself a cup tea without consulting some 'tea authority' prior to making it.
