I'm up for it, in principle.

But I'm in deepest East Kent, so Leicester and Birmingham are a tad unpractical.

I'd be happy to meet in Bristol, Cardiff, Taunton or the middle of Dartmoor. I'm sodding 'orrible, so Leicester is completely out of the question ('cos Jain & Bella met there and declared each other 'lovely'; I wouldn't fit in).

I just tried to work out the exact centre of the British mainland, and the nearest place was Newbiggin, North Yorkshire.

Oh, I'm sorry, did all of you Southerners forget Scotland exists? ;)

It's easy for them to do that - their combined mass produces a gravitational force that drags the result of any attempt to geographically centre the UK to Watford.

What a perfect place for us to meet up then! Where in Leicester is your second home?

Glen Parva, the missus lives there. It's just outside the town centre.

Glen Parva, eh? Now there's a place name from the past. I was born in Blaby!

But now, Marlborough is the centre of the universe.

West London would be good to though.

You are a miserable old git, aren't you? Why aren't you hanging out with all the rest of the old farts? Are we not good enough/miserable enough for you?

I'd happily turn up for a meeting in london/essex, maybe even hampshire, as long as everyone promises not to throw rocks at me :shifty:

Trouble is, any further afield for me, and i'd rather spend that time working on my port and spliff fuelled golf :smoke:
(now, if anyone wants to join me for that.... :naughty2: )

He admits to golf, on a public forum? Have you no shame?
