#1  Postby Atomic » Sep 19, 2012 12:36 am

Hi! I'm writing to say hello. As a former atheist of 25 years, present day skeptic, and Christian believer I'd like to respectfully disagree with some of the things I've seen said on this site. I'm looking forward to some interesting discussion.

Welcome Atomic... you can disrespectfully disagree too after all disrespect of an idea is not disrespect of a person.

You are rather rare. Other than all babies being born atheist, few older people who have notoriously (in the religious sense) indicated atheism jump to Christianity.

Welcome Atomic.

As a former atheist converted to Christianity, you are in good company.

Well I think Atomic is still 99.95% atheist, as many Christians don't believe in every god, but think that all the other gods don't exist.

I too will be interested if you decide to tell us how you fell prey to the screaming idiocy that is god-worshiping religion.

Welcome aboard. :)

I'm interested to learn more about what you mean by "ugly atheist baggage" and hopefully this will be explained through your posts.

Perhaps he took exception to one of Richard Dawkins's suitcases?

Terry Pratchett is also an atheist, so I suppose that might be the one.
