This is a WELCOME thread.

It's repugnant enough that the hard feelings toward me have to spill in and foul the atmosphere, but to then use it to combat personal issues is beyond the pale.

I would have liked Gallstones² better, if that is a valid screen name.

Welcome to the lifeboat.

Ah, Stanley, it is wonderful to see you! Please, come in and share your opinions of the world. We all look forwards to hearing them! I am sure we shall all have wondrous discourse! I look forwards to hearing why you are an atheist as well. Hopefully it will be as interesting, if not more so then your partner's story of breaking away from the Catholic Church.

Where is this breakaway story at? Linky please.

Thanks bunches.

Welcome Gallstone2. I hope you know that by picking that nick you've got some pretty big floppy shoes to fill. :naughty2: You should like it here. Crack mod team. ;)

Hey Gallstones. (#1) Been a while. It should amuse you to know that in retrospect I consider RDF from '07-09 to be overall the most reasonably moderated site of my experience. Hard for even me to believe, but true. After humber bailed and the insular cart thread went into wake mode, I looked around TR and soon saw the downside of near 0 adult supervision. It was great for the epic cart finale (70+ thousand replies, averaging about 200 wpp) but beyond our gated community it was starting to read like a mafia game on a chat room.

Glad to see you're still around to accept my apology for all my whinging back in '08. That's not to say I didn't have some valid points, but I in hindsight it's clear I was given a commendable amount of slack in expressing them. I've seen da light. I look back fondly at what a worthy proponent you were for staff, and fun to tease. Mentor your #2 well and he could be annuda contenda!
