You think he doesn't know that? Again, I find it hard to understand why anyone is still bothering trying to reason with him.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

Even - and I want to make this absolutely clear - even if he does say "supernatural".

After reading the last 15 or so pages of the thread, I’ve come up with an analogy, if you’ll indulge me.

John here is like a man on a nice calm lake, in a rowing boat with just a single oar.

He takes the oar and heaves it through the water. Motion is produced. The boat goes forward.

Encouraged by this success, he continues to use the oar, paddling furiously but only on one side of the boat. Indeed, he insists that he can only use the oar on that side.

He believes that he’s getting somewhere. As he furiously crashes the oar through the water, there is progress, of a sort. The scenery changes and the boat appears to go forward and little waves are made.

However, it’s apparent to the rest of us, watching from the shore, or possibly our own little boats, that John is desperately pushing himself through ever decreasing circles. The harder he paddles, the tighter the spirals get.

My fear is that eventually he paddles in a circle so fast that he ends up staring at himself in the back of the head.

This and typical of every thread he has started. He's not worth it. He's best left to paddle himself.

Some might say that the value and utility in discussions such as this is meeting the challenges an idea presents, and in so doing of testing that idea, to destruction if possible.

Agreed. I have no issue with bringing up things like this and discussing/destructing/supporting it, but a couple of times around that circle is really all it needs. So it seems to me. I have a hard time understanding why threads/topics like this go on for 50+ pages round and round and round as was expressed well by Meme.

anyway.....

He'll continue to do what he's doing, I think. You must pass a minimum speed to see your own head.

This thread is sort of a Master Stereotype of the ships-in-the-night feeling you get when discussing supernatural matters with the believer of great self-confidence. Reminds me of this nugget of genius:
