I am going to make this very very clear here:

If you use a misstep someone makes in a post or comment calling you out to ignore the substance of their argument, you are committing a tu quoque fallacy: “But you did it too!”

Woo, someone needs some help form Hack and Fallible.

What are you dragging that shit in here for? Its not their fault that you posted a bunch of stuff that was so wildly stupid.

It people getting aggressive about their misunderstanding of tu quoque.

Carry off.

Continuing your grudge from another thread that was 10 pages of offtopic even there is pretty aggressive too. I'm also pretty sure you're not actually allowed to do it. Just let it go for goodness sake.

I'm pointing and laughing at Tyler Laing, it just happened to be so similar I thought it was akin.

It seems only fitting now that the entire gang is back from forced vacation to take up where we left off.

Trigger warning
[Reveal] Spoiler:
That needs multiple trigger warnings Scott, but it is triggering me too much to tell why where or anything.
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

Well, I did warn you.

That looks like a man-trick to me. You say it may contain words, as though it may not contain words.

I'm just trying to lure you in with my masculine wiles. If that doesn't work I plan on batting my eyelashes at you.

Well, just so long as you don't bat your eyelashes in an elevator... :what:

Is there an animal species where the young eat the seniors?

As Fall suggested, how can these people even have conversations. One of them even admitted to making an "ableist slur" while telling the others off for ableist slurs :tehe:

I love the phrase from Beatrice's article, "tossing her surlies". It's like a new, young un's term for puking, or some sex move even I've never heard of :tehe:

There's a novel in there somewhere - the ''movement'' which was so stringent in the enforcement of its rules that eventually no one was PC enough to be a member. It then ran away and joined the circus.

I got more of an impression of a sulky teenager throwing something against the wall and flouncing out of a room, under the erroneous impression that anyone wished them to stay.

I'm not sure if you know this, but "surlies" are artworks (jewellery, on the whole) produced by "Surly" Amy Davis Roth.
