Among others. :teef:
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.

I don't expect it is just you, but I didn't actually call you anything.

Well I wouldn't, because number one he's constantly swinging his dick around about being impervious to shit slung at him, and number two, he's constantly referring to people as cunts which, if I was at all sensitive, I might also find quite offensive.

Ah so you're swinging your genetic propagation equipment round like you're impervious too?

Nope. I'm not impervious, sometimes things upset me, but not name calling, usually. Other shit, yes. I wouldn't say I'm sensitive though.

It's funny fal, cos I vacillate about that one too...one minute I say it's all water off a duck's back, and the next I say I was hurt by somebody's words (like with theropod the other day). It's a toughy.

Well I don't tend to get hurt by name calling. I more get hurt when I act in good faith and someone then questions my motives. That happens here sometimes when I mention my job, and I get accused of being unscrupulous, making money from vulnerable people, by those who think counsellor = American charges $200 an hour and tells you you need to come several times a week for years type 'therapist'. I'm not unscrupulous, and I don't make money from them. So it's misrepresentation that affects me the most.

It's the opposite for me fal - I only get upset when the comment touches a nerve...ie there's an element of truth in it as I perceive it. We can't both be right.I think perhaps you hate the fact you are given money for helping people - and it hurts when people allude to that? Luxury communism would fix that lol

Er. ..no, you have me all wrong. I'm happy that I can make a kind of living doing what I love. Also I'm not sure why we can't both be right. You're talking about you, I'm talking about me.

Ah yes; valid point. However I have a niggling suspicion I might be right about your dislike for people dissing you 'cos you make money from helping still.

I don't know why, I told you what hurts - misrepresentation. I do make money from helping people, that's true.
