Not sure I'm as wild as everyone else about Battlefield 1's WW1 setting. I can't help but feel it's going to be a stripped back affair. WW1 just doesn't have the breadth and scope (no pun intended) for vehicles, weaponry and fancy gadgets that a modern shooter does. There's no choppers either, a major minus for me. Now it is a stylised WW1 so I may be surprised, I really need to see gameplay footage

I've no doudt it will look as good as Battlefront. I just hope it's not as dumbed down as Battlefront.

I'm hoping to see some shooters going back to this type of setting, particularly for multiplayer. I loved COD 2 with the WWII setting and a much simpler "pick a weapon that best suits you and go out-shoot your opponent" philosophy. I completely lost interest in all of the recent COD and similar titles which are more about gimmicks than shooting and tactics.

Ironically I've found Destiny to be the most satisfying of recent FPSs because even with it's sci-fi/borderline-fantasy setting there is only a limited number of tricks up each players sleeve and the gameplay focuses more on skills and tactics than gimmicks.

I'm expecting Mankind Divided to be one of this year's best games.

The real actors feel/look...awkward. CG cut-scenes are perfectly good. Only a few games can get away with the live-action stuff. Mainly those that don't take themselves too seriously. :dunno:

There's only one game I'm looking forward to playing...

The Stick of Truth was fantastic. And Trey Parker and Matt Stone have written this one as well, so it should be great.
