I really want to see gameplay, though.

Yeah, they should release a trailer or footage of the actual gameplay but we have to make do with the screenshots for now like these.

I just want to put something out there about Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The only positive things I see in it, and the only reason I would even bother playing would be 4 things. Graphics, combat-system, Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill.

But, the game couldn't be entertaining for long, cause it takes place in one building. So the game-play cannot be too open, in fact, it screams linear.

Anyone want to tell me if it's entertaining for long or not?

Dragon Age II, March 11.

I'm a bit disappointed that it's not a direct continuation, like ME1 and 2, but looking forward to the effect choices in the first installment and the add-ons have nontheless. I think I'll trade in Fable II toward it, along with my 'Widders wants Dragon Age II fund'.

I have been continually let down by the Fable franchise. It promised so much, and gave so little.

I'm looking forward to Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, for the PC. Naturally.

I'm hoping they make a PC port for Red Dead Redemption.

I'm waiting for the "teams" to crack DC Universe Online, make a private server for it, or something, same issue they had with Assassin's Creed II, so they'll make it happen soon, I hope.

The Witcher II: Assassins of Kings, even the name screams awesome.

Test Drive 2: Unlimited seems like an interesting game. Coming out today, and on 11th, in the US, and EU respectively.

Maybe, I'll try out Dragon Age II. Maybe.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge, just might be awesome, still far away, though.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim , won't hold my breath.

Gonna be darker perhaps. No doubt Clint Mansell can score epics.

Requiem for a Dream can make 'anything' epic:

I'll bet on The Witcher II btw as I do not think Bioware can, even aim to, pull off the same thing they've done with Baldur's Gate II in DA2, while The Edler Scrolls V: Skirym should be distributed as open-source ;)

How about Deus Ex: Human Revolution?

Any hype for PORTAL2 ?
The first one was really awesome!
I'm not a big fan of RPGs but i think Skyrim may be a good one! I played Oblivion and enjoyed that.

As long as there's an extensive overhaul of the game by modders, I bet Skyrim will be awesome.

Indeed.

By the way, I never actually gotten around to playing New Vegas. I had it on my computer for months, but then I thought, it's basically like FO3 with barely any improvements, from the reviews and vids I've seen. Plus, the essential mods haven't surfaced at that time, so I binned it. Screw it.

^^ Oh really? My brother played F3 and NVegas and says Vegas is way better. That's on xbox with no mods. I want to start with Dragon Age, it's been lying in my drawer for 6 months now.

Yeah, but D3 has 3 years' worth of hype to live up to (kinda like Starcraft 2). I was disappointed in SC2 - it's a great game, but I wanted more after waiting 12/13 years for a sequal. Same issue with D3, except that I love Diablo2 so if they screw it up I will be eternally disappointed in Blizzard.

Just to put it out there, does anyone also hate the storylines of Blizzard games? :ask:

After Warcraft 3 I didn't want to play another game that featured irritating characters like Arthas. If you play Diablo 2 enough you want to kill Deckard Cain as well (talk about longevity, they really could've killed his long-winded Horadric ass in LoD's ending just to tie up loose ends). The terran characters in Starcraft also get on your nerves after playing too much.

I hope they adopt a proper story for D3, like those based on Richard Knaak's novels of Diablo.

NV is basically just FO3 in a desert. That doesn't mean it's not a good game because FO3 was awesome. NV is less apocolyptical, I still haven't finished the final battle on any of my saves, I get to it and then can't be bothered so start a new character.

Still want Skyrim the most, and whenever they bring out Assassin's Creed 3. I would buy that without seeing any reviews or screenshots beforehand. I'm that confident.
