shadow of the tomb raider - brilliant if you like this gen of tomb raider, won't particularly win you over if not...atm, feel like i prefer it to rise but a fair way to go yet...the optional tombs are improving every game...

Just finished Spiderman. The last fight was shit. That's too bad for a game where fights are the best feature during the whole game...
Also, I still don't hate MJ :)

I don't know if it makes me a weak, casual scrub, but I much prefer LoL over the needlessly complicated DOTA2.

Also digging Hearthstone.

Oh, I got a gaming laptop the other day because my previous laptop can't run Photoshop well. It takes a few minutes just to open it.

I'm also getting back into guitar again. Playing that through the laptop with a program called Amplitube which lets you set up virtual rigs. You set up your pedals and amp and stuff.

Can't be bothered starting a new thread, but did anyone else see the news that Telltale have all but folded? Apparently there's even a chance people who pre-purchased DLC season passes not only won't get the DLC, but aren't guaranteed a refund either.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telltale_Games
In September 2018, Telltale laid off 90% of its staff, leaving only 25 of previously 250 employees. All games that had been in development were canceled, and the remaining skeleton crew was kept to complete the five-part series Minecraft: Story Mode for release on Netflix.

yep, laid off most staff and reduced to a core team to complete current commitments is the impression i got...can't say i'm massively surprised though i've played most of the games and really enjoyed a few...main gripe for me is i won't see wolf amongst us 2 now...

just finished shadow of the tomb raider last night...now on to spidey, hopefully i can box it off before odyssey arrives

What's the problem? I haven't had any trouble finding anything.

Each character has his own inventory, then you have the common one. Which means, everytime you go to a merchant, you have to buy supplies for every character, or you'l find yourself stuck in a fight because the character you'd like to use a specific item with doesn't have it, it's on someone else or it's in the bag. Also, they get full pretty quick, and when you buy a weapon/armor you have to get rid of something first. And there's no screen showing you all inventories, which would have facilitated the management. I find the whole concept stupid, and unnecessarily complicated.

Managing your inventory for battle is part of the strategy of the game. You just buy a bunch of items at a merchant to put in the common one, and then distribute to individual characters as needed. Items also start having effects in battle later on in the game, so you've got to decide who has what. I wouldn't give my healer healing items for instance, but I might give them a weapon or armor that they can't equip, but heals or buffs or attacks so it doesn't waste their MP, or give them abilities they wouldn't otherwise have. Trying to find those items through a massive group inventory in battle would be ridiculous, it's much easier with individual characters with smaller inventories.

Also not sure what would be helpful about having a mass list of everyone's inventories. You can already see what items you can equip in an individual's equip menu, and it tells you who has them. I mean, the system is somewhat archaic because it is an archaic style game, but I honestly don't see what's so difficult about managing the inventory and certainly haven't had any issues so far. This isn't a modern hoarding game, you're supposed to sell the items you don't need.

I'm not saying it's difficult, I'm saying it's shit. You said archaic. That works too :)

It's not because of a lack of sales. Last year, they had a major restructuration, because they were working at a rythm that could not be maintained. But if failed. Most likely another example of bad management leading to a company's death.
