I have made plenty. It is easy and logical. Mind you I preferred databasing. You can use Access for that.

I dunno. I don't even know what Thommo does with his spreadsheets.

Animavore wrote:How does one make spreadsheets? :ask:

There's Google Sheets:

It's pretty straightforward if all you're doing is plugging in video game character stats.

Excel if you prefer Microshaft:

It varies, essentially it's just a way of making really, really good tables with the ability to incorporate calculations and a minimal amount of code.

My persona 5 sheet I used to keep track of daily variables/events, then I filled in my activities and added in the stat changes, which automatically summed themselves.

If there's something you want to do in particular I don't mind giving a few pointers, but there's an awful lot that one could say and most of it probably wouldn't be helpful. Two recommendations if you do decide to make one - there are a lot of good books on the market, like "Excel for dummies" (part of the whole for dummies range which is generally pretty good) that will teach you from scratch, the other is to get stuck in on an online sheet as Seabass recommended and then you can give the link out if you get stuck and get some pointers, or let someone make a few alterations.

Obviously if you've found everything you want in the online calculator already, that might be a bit redundant, but if it comes up again I would be more than happy to give a few pointers if you PM me or post to a thread, although I don't claim to be a great expert or anything!

I just googled this. Oh my Lord.

So, Dontnod just develop games with huge universes and stories, stunning visuals and moods, all to have a place for their "water the plant" mini games. That's my take from this.

Who are you to accuse me of a short memory?

Seriously, who are you again?
