2010 July 7 - Concept Plane: Supersonic Green Machine

When I saw that, I had to fish out my (1952) copy of The Conquest Of Space (which I've owned for as long as I can remember, and was what fueled my interest in astronomy) to check Bonestell's illustrations. Sure enough, his 'transcontinental rocket ship' is very similar to today's picture.

Have you had this black holey one yet ?
A soul in tension that's learning to fly
Condition grounded but determined to try
Can't keep my eyes from the circling skies
Tongue-tied and twisted just an earthbound misfit, I

2010 July 13 - Mosaic: Welcome to Planet Earth

Here, the world famous image has been recast as a spectacular photomosaic using over 5,000 archived images of Earth and space.

Some people just have too much spare time. :nono:

Not really, red. There is a software that does this. All you have to do is select the image you want to 'mosaic' and then select the images you want to use as the tiles. I used to do this when I was a lot younger. :shifty:

:ask: How can you be a 'lot' younger than 21?

Why, I have hemeroids older than you!

Oh, the arrogance of youth.
