LIFE just received the paper that was emailed as requested, and has asked me to copy it here in full :

I tried to paste a picture here but it doesn't work for me!

I think this cartoon may be appropriate, in case you haven't seen it before:

I am disappointed. I was hoping to see a well researched and logically reasoned paper from a YEC, but I guess I have a better chance of someone randomly handing me a million dollars while walking down the street (which has yet to happen, either)...

Exactly! While the details would have been way over my head, other people here would have been able to give it a decent look, and then make constructive comments, could have been a lively debate that I was looking forward to following. The original poster obvious had some maths or physics, but the way the posts went, he seriously wanted everyone to just take him at his word, and got seriously pissed off when they didn't. Not unusual, of course, but I thought this one could have been different.

Neither do some of us.

If you want an example, enjoy this old RDF thread. Where a creationist called "fredcow9" decided to try baiting me, and duly regretted it.

Have to give him 10/10 for effort though.

He at least thought he could try and come and appeal to his own authority and no one would dare question him because he was using big words he cribbed from wikipedia.

Shame for him really that there are actually members on this board who understand enough math to question his nonsense, and demand to see his 'Paper' instead of saying 'Ooooh he said Stefan–Boltzmann so clearly God exists.'

Pah.

Fredcow9 really wrote quite a bit, I'll need to save that link for a night that I don't have quite as much studying to accomplish. But I will anticipate no less than the usual dismantling...

Holy Goddamn. Is it even remotely possible say anything more tactless to Calilasseia in a conversation than THAT? Fredcow9 must be crippled from sexual masochism in real life.

They seem to be gravitational scattering diagrams. It must have had something to do with quantum gravity.
