Quick work-around - 'quote' the post, copy the link to another tab and ... voila - nice baps :mrgreen:

[Interestingly, or not, when I preview this post I can see the image in the 'topic review' pane. Aliens is my guess.]

I suspect that this is a hotlinking issue, some websites don't like people linking to their images. Once you have followed the link and seen the image your browser will avoid that issue and load it but if you haven't you will see something else, like image or an image saying no hotlinking.

Ah yes, though Opera has the option 'open image in new tab' so none of that strenuous holding down the control key for me! :grin:

Sometimes though there is no indication that there's a missing image, apart from context. Probably why I've stuck with the quote/copy'n'paste method.
