At season 3 episode 9. The amount of things this episode does to divert attention from what's going to happen.

The build up is so well done, particularly from the point where Catelyn is watching Robb and Talisa kissing. One of the Freys walks past, in between her and them, catching her attention.

The Frey walks to the door. The scene lingers with him going through the process of shutting this large door, and Catelyn is watching. It's a good few seconds, Catelyn studying this Frey. A moment after the door slams, the musicians start playing their next song. What is that...? The Rains of Castamere. Something's not right. Catelyn knows it. We know it. The sense of dread is slowly building...

Jamie is going to strangle her for being such a power whore that her devious plans have lead to the death of all their children, and then he will either kill himself or throw the gates open for Daenerys.

I'm still not convinced he's gone. That cutaway just before Brienne's supposed death blow doesn't seem to serve a purpose. What other major character's death was depicted like that?

I also kind of liked the guy, the whole burning his daughter to death thing notwithstanding.

Nope. Cersei wins. Undead mountain kills Drogon with one sweep of his sword and then proceeds to rape Dany before smashing her head Red Viper style.

Due to Dany's death the assault of Kings landing ends and leaves cersei queen of westeros. The white walkers attack. Everyone dies, but cersei gets turned into an ice queen. Then westeros experiences an endless winter that only 2 sons of Adam and 2 daughters of eve can break and there's this Jesus-lion and a table and something about sacrifice. Totally calling it.

I just finished season 5 and some of the bits I thought were in 6 were actually in 5. Which means 6 is pretty much forgettable.

Um, that's basically the plot of Harry Potter - I assume.

Quick nerd info check here: Varys knows that Baelish was the one who betrayed Ned Stark and led to his imprisonment and the rest of it, yes? So, if Dany's group meets with Jon and Sansa's group, and both Varys and Baelish are there, does that make for fun times?
