As much as I like Better Call Saul I'm finding it hard to gel this show's Saul with Breaking Bad's. Saul is a rather simpering, sycophantic, weaselly character in Breaking Bad. In Better Call Saul he's more all and devious and it's made out that this is the real Jimmy McGill behind the character of his alias Saul Goodman.
I've never been able to buy this line. I don't think BB's Saul was ever meant to be conceived as anything more than the superficial chancer he was. BCS all comes across as after the fact.

Modern vigilanté - brings up interesting issues. A very unlikely Batman and Robin.

Disenchantment on Netflix is pretty funny. It makes me miss Futurama.

I am expecting that something in life is going to turn that around. He's fighting the "good fight" still and there are two people in life he really cares about and are at the base of his deviousness. Indeed, something happens at the end of Season 3 that might trigger the change in Season 4. I'm trusting the writers to connect the arcs eventually.

Prediction: Kim is going to leave Saul. Probably after he descends to the dark side defending her after she gets compromised by the shady deals her number one client Mesa Verde is doing.

ETA:
Perhaps Saul sends her into hiding using the same guy he used for Walt and himself at the end of Breaking Bad. It would be cool (and very sappy) if in the series finale they show a scene where "Gene" from Cinnabon gets home to find Kim waiting for him.him.

Been rewatching Blacklist and this scene still cracks me up:
"Respect for personal beliefs = "I am going to tell you all what I think of YOU, but don't dare retort and tell what you think of ME because...it's my personal belief". Hmm. A bully's charter and no mistake."

That latest episode of Better Call Saul. Kim totally wrote that letter, right? And likely knows what the real one said.

I was really hoping for a surprise cameo when Saul called that burglar. :( But then later we got an even more awesome surprise cameo! :awesome:

According to the podcast from the producers, Chuck wrote the letter. that he didn’t date it is out of character for Chuck.

I've been watching Gilmore Girls. And no, I don't accept criticism no matter how constructive.

Yeah, she's been dating Logan for two and a half seasons. He's so wrong for her. Won't make her happy. And I can't believe Luke let Lorelai go without marrying her. They're meant to be together. Christopher disgusts me.

Rory’s taste in men is atrocious. And Luke is a dolt. I mean, let the boat go already.

Her path is so clearly meant to run along the same line as her mother's. A rich privileged boyfriend will never work. Eventually she's gotta work out that she and Jess are supposed to find each other years from now when their lives finally line up. He's her Luke. We just need the actual Luke to sort his shit out and get together with Lorelai again so that we know Rory's happy ending has textual and patterned precedent. Lorelai is awesome though.
