I watched Happy and Aggretsuko. Both pretty entertaining, in wildly divergent ways.

Only thing about Happy - it's not as shocking as it (or probably more accurately others) thinks it is.

It's pretty violent, and some of that violence takes place around kids. It's a bit of a kitsch sort of violence, but there's plenty of fake blood, that's for sure!

I know what you mean though, it does shy away from violence or other abuse towards the kids in a lot of ways and the music, lighting and atmosphere are all designed with that in mind, rather than a tense, gritty or realistic psychological trhiller which would create the opposite impression.

Clearly I'd forgotten Broadchurch entirely ...got blindsided by Season 2. Charlotte Rampling still incredible screen presence.

He still kind of has that Floki swagger though.

Just watched episode 4 and the previews for 5. Holy cow, it's kicking off.

The Handmaid's Tale. A documentary sent back from the future which details what will happen if we impeach Trump and let Pence take over.

When I watched the first season (I think the story was more or less told within five episodes and the rest has been reaching), I found myself hoping and praying I'm infertile.

Also, while one could argue Joseph Fiennes is the better looking brother, he doesn't have the gravitas of Ralph. Ralph is the sexier Fiennes.

Damn.

And in the same week SyFy manages to fuck up again, this time by cancelling The Expanse.
