It's a show for adults. You and Thommo can watch One Punch Man. :coffee:

Unlike the idiotic twist ARROW did with Chase's character being Prometheus, instead of becoming Vigilante, as per the comics, Aida turning into Madam Hydra, even if only in a virtual-reality, is brilliant. :)

STAR WARS REBELS

So, I'm obviously not a huge Star Wars-fan, nor am I very familiar with all of the lore and don't get really excited about related stuff, get attached to characters...etc.

If I'd be a force-sensitive character, within that universe, I'd be between a Sith and the Jedi, not like Bendu, but using aspects and techniques of both sides, ultimately on the side of good. Chaotic good, or however one would call it.

Both sides have issues, fanaticism, absolutism, naiveté...etc.

And Sidious takes advantage of ALL of it.

Which brings me to Maul's last line, with his dying breathe, referring to the chosen one, Luke.

"He will avenge us."

There is so much power behind it.

Avenge him, Obi-Wan, the Sith, the Jedi, everyone who's been manipulated, torn from a life, a home, a family, from their race and made into a weapon. At least, that's how I interpret it. It literally sent chills down my spine. His character was fucking brilliant.

And it's quite coherent with what we saw in the previous episodes too.

Started watching Westworld.
Funny how this programmable-humans-starting-remembering-previous-lives thing sounds a lot like this other TV show, Dollhouse...

The Handmaid's Tale comes out on Hulu on April 26. I don't have a subscription, but I plan to start my free, 30-day trial that day, then binge-watch. Looks like it's gonna be good.

I did see that Macdonald's twitter PR people did actually tweet something in response to the episode about bringing the sauce back.

https://heatst.com/entertainment/mcdona ... uan-sauce/
All was fun and good as the Internet overhyped a mediocre fast food condiment they probably didn’t remember. That is until the shit-tier pop culture blog Inverse had to label it “problematic.”

In Yasmin Tayag’s piece, “McDonald’s Shouldn’t Bring Back Szechuan Sauce for the ‘Mulan’ Remake,” McDonald’s fabled Szechuan sauce is blasted as disrespectful for Chinese culture, not spicy enough, and somehow connected to the United Airlines incident.

Black Sails season 4

Just finished the final season of Black Sails, and it's great. The battles, the betrayals, the heart-wrenching moments,... this season is a roller coaster. In the final episode, the show goes meta and comments on the stories we tell about pirates vs what really happened. As a result, the ending is ambiguous, and it's left to the viewers to decide which version they want to believe; it's really clever and satisfying. The acting and dialogue continue to be of high standard; the show has come a long way from its uneven start. Stand-outs are Toby Stephens (Flint) and Toby Schmitz (Rackham), as usual.

Story-wise though, this season does have flaws. I believe this has to do with the fact that the showrunners had originally planned for more seasons, but were forced by their network to put and end to it. In particular, the season contains two storylines that logically should be consecutive, but instead are told simultaneously. I suspect that the writers intended to tell one story arc in season 4, and the other in season 5. The result is that there are character arcs that don't make a lot of sense. It feels rushed and underdeveloped. In addition, several characters seem to have teleporters and tracking devices, ending up conveniently at the right place at the right time. I can't fault the writers for this, they did the best they could given the circumstances, and they did an admirable job. On the flip side, there isn't a single dull moment in this season, unlike season 3, which was somewhat dragging.

All in all, a great ending to another underrated show. I'm going to miss it.

That was my first thought as well.
Saw a familiar face in the trailer, but had to look her up on IMDb...
The lovely Alyssa Sutherland (Princess Aslaug from Vikings) has top billing in the cast.
I'll probably give it a chance, but it'll have to make a very good impression in the first episode...

The thing is, Under the Dome was so ridiculously bad it became 'good'. It's probably the only show I've hate-watched. It was so unbelievably stupid that I just couldn't stop. Every time I had to see how much worse it could get, and they always delivered. So yeah, I was thoroughly entertained, albeit for different reasons than they intended ;)

This trailer however just looks awful. Bad production quality, bad acting. I'll wait for the reviews, but I'm pretty sure it's going to flop.

Pretty good season finale for Westworld. But I keep wondering... Why didn't they cast Sean Bean as Teddy ?
