Oh god, I hope not! I had just taken for granted that no one could stand him and would all quite like to punch him in the penis.

I can quite categorically state that I've never contemplated assaulting Mr Sandler's Ahem, not matter how risible his output. Good day Madam. :snooty:

He was actually inoffensive in Airheads.

He did almost fart on a snare drum. Should I spoiler that?

I'd like to keep as far away from his penis as possible.

The worst film I ever saw was an Adam Sandler film. I think it was his first one.

I remember be stopped at a mall, and offered a dollar to watch a movie trailer and give my reaction. It was for an Adam Sandler movie. The first words out of the trailer were "Adam Sandler" I refused to look at it and got up to leave. But the surveyor asked me to stay for the whole trailer. I told him that if he was supposed to accurately gauge audience reaction, my walking out is just another data point. I also gave him back the dollar.

Glen Or Glenda was worse, I think. Though I guess it did have a certain charm at least.

Glen or Glanda was better because it was a sincere attempt at a good movie. It has charm because the director put his heart into it, and it shows- despite the fact that there is little or none of the quality which one associates with a film that was lovingly crafted by its director. Ed Wood loved his ugly babies. Going Overboard leaves me wondering if Valerie Breiman is even capable of love.

He was "jumped" by a cheetah at a safari park in South Africa. (He was in the country for the filming of Blended, another of his cringeworthy "comedies").

  I was jumped by my tabby more than a few times, back when she was younger.
Now nearly 17 yrs old, she does very little walking, let alone jumping. :(

The Purge: Anarchy (2014)

Image

It's about a man who takes a helluva lot of laxatives and then goes into a bathroom stall without toilet-paper.

Okay, seriously...

This one took me by surprise. Was expecting a B-grade thriller, but got something with a compelling story (though a bit far-fetched), believable characters, good pacing and a nice bit of human drama (especially in the final scenes).
I think it deserves a bit better than its 6.5 score at IMDb. I give it 7.5.

10 Cloverfield Lane.

Not sure about that one. :ask:

The aliens seemed a bit, well, deus ex machina. I was expecting more of an interesting twist

Agree completely. And so much better than the first one, which just never seemed to get off the ground.

Yeah, I liked that one too. Don't watch it on an empty stomach, though.
