More than likely top contender for Best Special Effects but other than that, just watch the original animation. This is a pointless, almost frame by frame remake without the heart.

The original being in my top 3 movies of all times, it's extremely unlikely I'll watch this one.

I wouldn't have only my girlfriend was bringing her visiting nephews to the cinema. I went in with low expectations. It wasn't terrible. I'm not going to claim it retroactively violated my childhood. But my expectations were met. No more. No less.

My intention was not to provoke you, it was to speak my mind. It's not my fault you are who you are.

Conflating the quality of movie tastes and the quality of the movie-goer says more about the observer, imo.

Well, what you call conflating has a good chance of being close to reality simply because of the Gauss curve. In your opinion ... amuse me more. What is liked by the masses is usually shit, that is a fact.

The whole argument is moot bc you can’t demonstrate that even someone with mostly or entirely ‘mediocre’ tastes in art is a ‘mediocre’ person. But you won’t even get to that challenge, bc you’ll always be stuck demonstrating that any given piece of art is ‘mediocre’, by continually listing out the reasons that make it so. (News flash: those reasons are formed by committee, and are as fickle as human tastes themselves.) But more to the point: my statement stands regardless... conflating the ‘quality’ of art with the ‘quality’ of the person who enjoys it does in fact say more about the observer. The way to burst that notion is simply to critique the art, since to the art critic, it’s the art that matters, and the audience is just a mirror. If you find yourself distracted by what the mirror reflects back, you’re doing it wrong.

What argument? I do not care what you think, unlike you seem to care what I think. Go talk to someone else ;)

parsing the issue.

Tuco has not seen the entire Marvel Universe arc.

Tuco is confused by the last movie.

Tuco watches the movie meant for a large screen on a small screen making for further confusion in his poorly informed mind.

his hilarious conclusion displayed above.

Tuco confuses art with entertainment.

I rewatched End Game last week as it happens. I thought it was a load of shite. Boring too. No wonder I never went back to the cinema for seconds.

Well, it’s pretty apparent that whenever tuco speaks his mind it is only to remind us of his genius, superior intellect and taste.
