It was nonsense. :dunno:

Also saw CHIPS. The movie no one asked for. So forgettable I've been spending half the day trying to remember what was the other film I watched last night.

Fortress. Catch 22 without the humour or acting. Good camera work though. Irish jigs somewhat incogruous.

Watching The Force Awakens on Disney+ ...nice to have consistent feed in 4k HDR. Have a new 4k coming ....brighter 600 nits versus the 160-240 depending on who you beleive for my current 49".

With all the HDR content coming online 600 at least will get into HDR10 ....that will do.

Couple more years until 1,000 and HDR20. Getting our first HDR400 ( don't ask ) computer monitors too. Messy standards out there.

Harrison Ford looks very good in it.....still think BB8 is the star.
Wanted one at Disney :-(

Don't smoke, at my age with the world as it is, might give it a try as it won't effect life expectancy by much.

Image

updated to 4k HDR ....a bit uneven compared to others in detail. has an "older look/softer" especially in the space sceens ...maybe reflecting original limitations as some of the updated films are very done.

Maybe JarJar didn't get the top tier treatment. Too bad as that underwater city could be very good eye candy

Disney claims all were redone but this one is a bit soft.

Tricky Disney ...my 7 day deal is up and I can only buy a year subscription....

Portman looking very small and very young in this......of course she was young...

and is small.

I felt the same way when I very reluctantly attended (i.e. dragged to) yesterday. It is much better than I thought it would be. However, it is definitely something I would have waited to view on a streaming service.

Of course it was bollocks, the whole thing is just a vehicle for Bruce Lee to kick the shit out of people so quickly and expertly that you can't even see it, even though he slowed it down for you. The rest of it isn't worth watching.

I much preferred Enter The Fat Dragon.

Speaking of kung fu films, watched Miracles (aka Black Dragon), a 1989 Jackie Chan film. Thought I'd seen all his great classic Hong Kong fights, but there's some amazing choreography and acrobatics in this one and the actual plot was fun as well, though it dragged on too long.
