I run the Clear Skies Podcast and I'll happily let you have my interview with Dr Chris Lintott at NAM 82012 in exchange for free publicity. PM if interested whoever runs this show.

We could do one on Curiosity (the rover as well as the human(?) trait).

A Hangout (on Google+) this time?

Amongst other things:

Is it possible to be good without god? What's the role of religion in shaping modern morality?
Neil Turok's dig at string theory... A discussion of sorts.
Have humans stopped evolving as Attenborough suggests?

We can squeeze all of these (or any other topics that we agree upon) in 60-90 minutes.

Let's do it this Saturday. Willing members can post here. :)

I am possibly willing, depends on the time really and if I have anything intelligent to say.

A Google+ hangout isn't a bad idea, I have used it for a few streams before and it is a rather nice video and audio streaming program. Do you plan on recording just the audio at the time? Or perhaps streaming the podcast (both audio and video/static image of the hangout) live and recording the audio alongside that?

I'm usually up for this as the Voice of Theism - I can't be the Voice of God, that was Alanis Morisette if I recall Dogma correctly? Only thing I can't say much on is String Theory, because I have not read Turok and have no idea what particular form of String Theory he is attacking -- reading Matt Strassler has given me a healthy respect for exactitude in this area...

I think we should call hack, twistor, newolder and the other science-y folks in for that.

And you guys should come up with better topic ideas! I just mentioned these three to get the ball rolling... :)

I'm obsessed with this idea of data mining algorithms in big data and AI altering the nature of how we do science.

Can we please please do another podcast on this?

And can we call it, "Transcending the Anthropocene in Science"? Please!
