Trump Curse Victim #9

9) Political Action Committee (PAC) - The Lincoln Project
This group is perhaps the most fanatical anti-Trump Political Action Committee consisting of the highest concentration of those afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome, The Lincoln Project became notorious for the most vile anti-Trump ads during the months preceding the November 2020 Presidential election. It was founded on December 17, 2019 and its main purpose was to prevent the re-election of Donald Trump for a second consecutive term in 2020. Right there, this should tell us this group was doomed to fail because over 100+ born-again Christian prophets worldwide (AU, UK, CN, USA, Africa, etc.) had already predicted Trump's 2nd consecutive term way back starting in 2006 (for more info on this prophecy which is about to be fulfilled, see the thread titled, "Will the Trump Prophecies bring Legitimacy to Christianity?" in the Debunking Section of this forum).

This PAC was one of the largest money-haulers in 2020 and brought in almost $90M in the run-up to the November 2020 elections including donations from high-profile elites like David Geffen and others. The members consisted of strident anti-Trump strategists who were disgruntled Republicans that wanted to bring down Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump at all costs and was hired by Democratic pro-Biden groups to that end. They aired ads portraying Trump and his allies as chimpanzees. They were at the height of their political power after Joe Biden's inauguration on January 20, 2021. Co-founder Steve Schmidt once said, "“I think we built the most successful super PAC in American political history. We turned it into a movement and I think we did tremendous damage to Donald Trump.”

Their social media accounts were booming and their podcast already had millions of listeners and they had huge followings on YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. They even spread their influence to include foreign politicians who hired them for their own campaigns, including a candidate for Prime Minister in Israel running against then P.M. Benjamin Netanyahu. They aired hard edged ads, giving them a "win at all costs" reputation, which worked heavily in their favor. Fighting "vitriol with vitriol" was their winning strategy which they viewed as a necessary evil.

But the organization's downfall was more than swift, and catastrophic. Within 11 days of celebrating Biden's inauguration on January 20, 2021 which they worked so hard to achieve, they were hit with a huge sexual misconduct allegation on January 31, 2021. The New York Times reported that co-founder John Weaver had sent 21 young men unsolicited sexually-suggestive messages and photos; one was 14 years old. The allegations involved offering career help in exchange for sex. Furthermore, there were also allegations that other co-founders of The Lincoln Project had known about this problem for months but did not report it to the authorities.

Weaver acknowledged his wrongdoing and said, “The truth is that I’m gay. And I have a wife and two kids that I love. My inability to reconcile those two truths has led to this agonizing place.”

In his response, co-founder Steve Schmidt said, "“I detest John Weaver in a way I can’t articulate. My heart breaks that young men felt unseen and unheard in an organization that I started. I am ashamed of it...I just know that he is a liar and a predator, and I wish our paths never crossed.” Schmidt recounted his own experiences of being sexually abused as a 13-year-old at a camp and how that experience led to a lifetime of “the three companions of his life: anger, shame and depression."

The media pounced on this news with headlines such as:

"The Lincoln Project implodes amid infighting and scandal" (Politico: 2/12/2021)

"The Lincoln Project, a brash anti-Trump group, is thrown into disarray" (Los Angeles Times: 2/12/2021)

An exodus from the group soon followed, with most co-founders and key personnel leaving and asking for a release from their nondisclosure agreements as they left. To add insult to injury, even some who shared the group’s opposition to Trump said their downfall was deserved.

Their income through political donations also dropped precipitously. Whereas they hauled in almost $90M in 2020, they raised less than $5M in the first 6 months of 2021. Their domestic and foreign associates cut ties with them. Their last political effort for the governorship of Virginia in November 2021, was an absolute disaster. They hired 5 men dressed to look like white supremacists, and had them stand with torches in-hand, next to the campaign bus of Republican candidate for Virginia governor, Glenn Youngkin, and meant to damage his campaign with this hoax.

The stunt backfired spectacularly. The hoax was uncovered immediately. A spokesperson for The Lincoln Project admitted they arranged the hoax, and Youngkin won the election regardless of this hoax meant to politically damage him. His Democratic opponent Terry McAuliffe, who The Lincoln Project was attempting to help, scolded and renounced the Lincoln Project and wanted nothing to do with the 'white supremacist' stunt. Needless to say, The Lincoln Project received widespread media criticism and condemnation from both sides of the political spectrum for their fake race-baiting hoax (does this sound familiar? hint: see Trump Curse victim#3) which was meant to paint Republicans as racists.

Quick Summary: They were one of the most powerful and richest PACs in 2020. Who would have guessed that within 11 days of celebrating their supposed 'ultimate victory' over Trump on January 20, 2021 with the inauguration of Biden as POTUS, that they would implode on January 31, 2021 and become almost nothing but a shell of their former self in the following months. And while their efforts, as Republicans, was aimed at bringing condemnation to Trump from both Democrats AND Republicans, they were the ones to receive condemnation from BOTH sides of the political spectrum in the end. Heavens. The Trump Curse was swift on this group of anti-Trumpers for sure. Eleven days, people! The only case which was swifter was Carrie Underwood (see victim#2) at two days.

Trev, I've gotta ask. Why do you and your kind feel the need to post these incomprehensible walls of text? Do you think it makes you seem more credible or is it just that you and the voices in your head are working as a team today?

I work in politics and I encounter your sort all the time and you should know that nobody reads the fucking boring shit you post on message boards and send in green text emails.

Well maybe not "nobody" -- I'm sure there's a couple of social spastics around here who've combed the nits out of your cretinous prattle but for the bulk of us you're a scroll down and carry on sort of poster.

Is Trump a witch or warlock or something? If all these anti-Trump people are cursed, then it follows that someone else would have had to have put a curse on them at some point, no? Is Trump doing the cursing, or are other people doing it on his behalf? Or can curses manifest themselves without human input?

I assume when Trev look at the number of people associated with Trump who have been exposed as criminals, from pedophiles to traitors to con-artists.... Trev has to pretend to himself that it was Satan taking a crap on God's work.

And of course, Trev's God loves the likes of Steve Bannon, Roger Stone, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, Rick Gates, George Nader, George Papadopolous, Tom Barrack, Elliot Broidy, Allen Weisselberg, Robert Palmer, Jacob Chansley....

My this list could go on and on and on....

Aside from their affiliation to Trump and their criminality, the only other thing linking them is that they're all old white men, and we all know what a hard-on Trev's god gets for this cohort.

Trump Curse Victim #10

CNN (Cable News Network - aka Communist News network) - CNN's ratings have tanked as its credibility has tanked. The days of partisanized knowledge and agenda-setting authority, at least from CNN, are finally gone. This Left-wing activist arm of the Democratic Party masquerading as supposed 'objective journalism' is about to fade away into oblivion along with their woke liberal narratives. Founded in 1980, it became the most fanatical anti-Trump media corporation during Trump's first term as POTUS, but it is now becoming more apparent, by the day, that CNN will not be around to see Trump's second term.

From its President Jeff Zucker to Anchor Anderson Cooper to Host Don Lemon to now ex-Anchor Chris Cuomo, these men hammered away at Trump nightly with slanderous fake news.

However, it now appears that unfortunate events have turned things around 180 degrees, and in a very bad way for the network. Recent news media headlines highlight this slow-motion train wreck that CNN has become:

"CNN, MSNBC ratings PLUMMET as Americans turn their backs on woke, liberal media" (American News, 12/28/2021)

"CNN and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Year" (Fox News, 12/26/2021)

"The Last Days of CNN" (Front Page Magazine, 12/23/2021)

"Chris Cuomo's Suspension Caps CNN's Nightmare Year" (Newsweek, 12/2/2021)

"CNN's ratings Crash in October without any regular program" (Fox News, 11/5/2021)

"CNN's Ratings are an Unfixable Disaster" (Outkick, 9/8/2021)

Seemingly oblivious to those unflattering headlines, CNN.com continues to bill itself as, "The Most Trusted Name in News - CNN" (Now if that isn't the most sidesplitting, tone-deaf description of themselves, LOL!)

No wonder the yearly ratings for CNN revealed its viewership has dropped an astounding 78% since January of 2021 ! In November of 2021, CNN's viewership was only 654,000 - which is no more than an amateur Youtube channel produced in a private home or basement...or even out of one's own car ! I wonder if this RatSkep Forum might have even beat CNN's viewership in November - now THAT would be hilarious.

The reasons for CNN's embarrassing implosion are painfully obvious. Every single reason is related to sexual misconduct by a male staffer:

1) CNN Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin: Joining CNN in 2002, he was caught masturbating on camera in October 19, 2020 during a Zoom call for his other employer, The New Yorker Magazine. His statement read, "I made an embarrassingly stupid mistake, believing I was off-camera. I apologize to my wife, family, friends and co-workers." He was fired by CNN and also fired by The New Yorker. On June 10, 2021, however, and unlike The New Yorker, CNN rehired Toobin who said the incident was "deeply moronic and indefensible" and "didn't think other people could see him." He appeared repentant and said he was "trying to be a better person" and was going to therapy.

2) CNN Producer John Griffin: Griffin was arrested on December 11, 2021 and charged with sexual abuse of children. He is accused of enticing mothers and their daughters to engage in 'sexual training'. The Dept. of Justice released a statement saying he conveyed to mothers that a "woman is a woman regardless of her age" and sought to persuade parents to allow him to 'train their daughters to be sexually submissive'. He paid for airline tickets and flew a mother and her daughter to Boston where he engaged in unlawful sexual activity with the daughter. CNN has since suspended him.

3) CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo: Cuomo was fired from CNN on 12/5/2021 for attempting to conduct a smear campaign against women who accused his brother, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, of sexual harassment, and also for being accused of sexual misconduct himself by a previous coworker at ABC. Now he is claiming his ex-boss at CNN, Jeff Zucker, knew about these 'issues' all along and is suing CNN for $18M for throwing him under the bus. The knives are really coming out now.

4) CNN Host Don Lemon: A case which has been slowly winding its way behind the scenes may finally be going to court in 2022. Don Lemon is being accused of sexual assault by Dustin Hice, a New York bartender who claims Lemon rubbed his hand over the man's frontal area of his shorts and then proceeded to put that hand into the man's face as a form of intimidation. In addition, Lemon's name came up in the fake race-baiting hate-crime case of Jussie Smollett where Lemon appeared to meddle in that case while it was an active investigation. Jussie testified in court that Lemon texted him and warned that the Chicago Police did not believe his hate crime police report, supposedly causing Smollett to fear the police. Lemon later interviewed a guest on his CNN show who characterized Smollett as a serial liar, in what appeared to be a swipe at Smollett's court testimony regarding the text.

That's FOUR top-level staff members - all under investigation for sexual misconduct! Or in Jeffrey Toobin's case, no investigation was necessary because his acts were done live on-air. If that doesn't spell doom and gloom for the network, I don't know what will.

With all of these sexual misconduct cases going on at CNN, others couldn't help but take notice. During Elon Musk's recent interview with The Babylon Bee podcast on December 23, 2021, the Babylon Bee interviewers were thanking Musk for coming over to their small media firm and commented that a guy of Musk's stature could have been spending his time being interviewed at CNN instead. Musk's response was absolutely precious: He said that he's "not perverted enough" to appear on CNN. LOL. Now that pretty much sums it up.

Quick Summary: After 41 years in the mainstream media business but less than 1 year after Trump left the White House, it appears CNN is done. And their demise couldn't come sooner. For a mass media company as prominent, well-established and well-funded as CNN to go out of business - as quickly as they appear to be - is almost a miracle (or should we say, a 'curse'?) Not to mention the timing of it all. Not only will we see corrupt Washington D.C. politicians cleaned out in 2022 as the Trump Prophecies have declared (See thread titled, "Will the Trump Prophecies bring Legitimacy to Christianity?" in the Debunking Section of this forum) but we will also see the fake news media cleaned out in the same year. Talk about a high-quality industrial cleaning job that only God can do. Thank You Lord for caring about America and about righteousness and justice and doing what nobody else could do! It's hard to believe Trump supporters have any issues with sexual misconduct allegations when Trump himself has more than CNN does collectively.

These CNN guys should join the Republican party where these type of allegations guarantee success rather than end careers.

Now, I don't watch CNN - not being American or having U.S. TV channels, but this smells like more counterfactual wish-thinking on your part.

And of course, we all know that there's a huge gulf between constructing a sentence to declare something as true, and it actually being true.

So a cursory look at the ratings of CNN for 2021 shows you are, completely unsurprisingly, talking out the wrong end of your digestive tract YET AGAIN! :doh:

According to statista and Adweek, CNN had a bumper year last year, being the most watched basic Cable network in Q1 of 2021, having the highest end of year viewership, and in fact, having had their 2nd largest viewership of all time.

There's wrong, and then there's Trev levels of wrong.

You actually think your empty-headed biases dictate reality - it's an equal mixture of comedy and despair to watch someone so ignorant and hateful try to impose their small-minded bigotry on the world and expect it to stick! :lol:

Trump promised to have corrupt politicians cleared out of Washington when he took office in 2016. He then proceeded to put highly corrupt, unqualified people in every position he could possibly find. Including federal courts, but he had help from Mitch McScumFuck and friends with that.
Remember the "drain that swamp" chants by his gullible rally-goers? They don't seem to remember.

Oh look, the usual brand of stupidity is being peddled once again ...

truelgbt wrote:1) Everything came from nothing (Cosmology) and everything made itself (LOL) which violates basic Physics, as in Physics 101;
When was the last time we saw ANYTHING make itself? NEVER.

2) Nonliving material became a living thing (Abiogenesis - huge LOL) which violates basic Biology, as in Bio 101;
When was the last time we saw nonliving stuff become a living thing? NEVER.

3) Our thoughts of love, hate, fairness, etc. are nothing more than chemical reactions in the brain (LOL again). Just let me take your wallet and we'll assume your aversion to theft is just chemical reactions.

I take legal authority to issue a restraining order against this spirit of stupor in this forum. Be gone.

Let's take a look at this drivel, shall we?

First, let's deal with the "atheists believe something came from nothing" canard once and for all, shall we?

Item one. Atheists dispense with belief altogether. Instead, if they're contemplating a postulate *properly*, they ask "what evidence exists in support of this postulate?", and look to whichever discipline is supplying the evidence.

Item two: the people who REALLY think the universe came from "nothing", are those supernaturalists who think their imaginary magic man from their favourite mythology, waved his magic todger and poofed the universe into existence from nothing. So even before I move on to the next items, this alone stuffs the "atheists think the universe came from nothing" excrement down the toilet and pulls the flush hard.

Item three. The question of the origin of the universe has nothing to do with atheism. This question is the remit of cosmological physics. And, once again, those of us who paid attention in class, turn to that discipline, and ask what postulates arise therefrom, and what evidence is supplied in support thereof.

Item four. No cosmological physicist presents the fatuous notion that the universe "came from nothing". Instead, cosmological physicists postulate that testable natural processes, acting upon well defined entities, were responsible for the origin of the observable universe in its current form.

Item five. The question of the origin of the universe is an active research topic, and as a corollary, a number of hypotheses are extant in the field, with respect to the origin of the observable universe. Indeed, it's a measure of how far cosmological physics has progressed, that researchers in the field are able to postulate a number of pre-Big-Bang cosmologies, and then work out how to test those cosmologies and the hypotheses underpinning them.

Item six. As an example of the ideas extant in the literature, I'm aware of two papers by Steinhardt & Turok, in which they propose a pre-Big-Bang cosmology centred upon braneworld collisions, and which possesses three elegant features. Namely:

[1] It provides a mechanism for the donation of energy to the newly instantiated universe, facilitating subsequent matter synthesis;

[2] It eliminates the singularity problem from standard Big Bang cosmology;

[3] It provides a testable prediction, namely that the power spectrum of primordial gravitational waves will take a specific form, with the graph skewed towards short wavelengths.

Indeed, [3] above is one of the reasons scientists have been labouring diligently, to produce operational gravitational wave detectors, precisely so that they can test this prediction, once they've learned how to distinguish between primordial gravitational waves and gravitational waves of more recent origin. The moment they learn to do this, the requisite tests will be conducted. Furthermore, if those tests reveal a power spectrum that matches the Steinhardt-Turok prediction, then Steinhardt & Turok walk away with the Nobel Prize for Physics.

So that's the first piece of excrement on your part fed into the shredder.

Next ... I've been aware of the abiogenesis literature for some time, and the progress being made in the requisite research. I've yet to see an audit conducted on how many papers are extant in the field, but it wouldn't surprise me to learn that the total had passed the 100,000 mark some time ago, even though the discipline is still in its relative infancy. The 350 or so papers I've collected and read over the past decade probably represent less than 1% of the total literature available, but that small fraction has still been highly illuminating. Not least because it contains documentation of, among other topics:

[1] Synthesis pathways for precursor molecules such as amino acids, nucleotides and lipids (some very interesting recent progress in this area was published by John Sutherland in "Nature");

[2] Synthesis of peptide chains - for example, a paper co-authored by Leslie Orgel documents how carbonyl sulphide, a gas produced in quantity by volcanoes and which is readily soluble in water, catalyses the formation of peptide chains when added to a solution of mixed amino acids (the catalysis works even better under a range of prebiotic scenarios);

[3] Synthesis of RNA - numerous papers cover how RNA synthesis from nucleotides is catalysed by clay minerals in prebiotic conditions;

[4] RNA catalytic activity - numerous RNA strands have been demonstrated to exhibit catalytic activity with respect to a wide range of chemical reactions, and some of the strands in question are short (less than 20 nucleotides);

[5] RNA replication - numerous experiments have demonstrated that RNA strands are frequently catalysts for their own self-replication in the presence of bare nucleotides (more on this in a supplementary note below);

[6] Protocell formation - numerous experiments have demonstrated that various lipid mixtures will spontaneously self-assemble into well defined structures, such as micelles, bilayer sheets and liposomes, simply by agitating the solution - literally, shake the bottle - and that those lipids will encapsulate RNA molecules that are present when forming those structures, thus providing a simple mechanism for the formation of the earliest, simplest protocells;

[7] Metabolism - a range of chemical reactions that can form the basis of simple prototype metabolisms for simple protocells have been demonstrated to work in the laboratory, and can take place in the context of lipid encapsulated RNA catalysis.

The above papers document the evidence that chemical reactions postulated to be implicated in the origin of life all work.

Indeed, there was a time in the distant past, when the Earth was devoid of life. Then, life emerged, and left evidence of its emergence. Life IS chemistry writ large. Millions of chemical reactions are taking place in your body right now, and if some of those reactions STOP, you DIE.

Meanwhile, on the matter of RNA replication - apart from the readily available chemical pathways to RNA synthesis (from which DNA can arise later), and the ever growing data on the utility of RNA molecules from an origin of life perspective, there's also the fact to take into account, that naked RNA strands are still active in the biosphere today, known as 'biological satellites', which, although they rely upon a helper virus for replication within a host cell, add to the evidence that naked RNA strands could persist for extended periods of time in the wider environment. Though these 'satellites' are considered to be viral in origin, they provide some useful insights into the sort of processes that could have operated within a prebiotic 'RNA world'.

Furthermore, experiments have been conducted, demonstrating that once an RNA world is chemically bootstrapped into being, evolutionary processes quickly act to generate variation within that RNA world, upon which selection processes can act. Perhaps the seminal experiment to date in this respect, is documented in this paper:

Darwinian Evolution On A Chip by Brian M. Paegel & Gerald F. Joyce, PLoS Biology, 6(4): e85 (2008) DOI: 10.1371/journal.pbio.0060085

Simple chemical gradients can provide the basis for selection pressures, and the above paper demonstrates this in action.

Meanwhile, the state of the art of abiogenesis research has moved on to synthetic protocells as a model for the emergence of protocells in the prebiotic world. Some relevant papers include the following:

In short, scientists have answered questions via relevant research, that most mythology fanboys don't even know exist. At this point, your second piece of drivel is fed into the shredder by actual science.

Meanwhile, on the subject of the chemical basis of emotions, apparently you've never heard of oxytocin, a 9-peptide molecule that has been repeatedly demonstrated to be implicated in altruistic behaviour, parental bonding with offspring, and several other elevant phenomena. A brief but useful introduction to the importance of several molecules with respect to emotions can be read here. More on this topic can be read here.

Come back when you've learned some actual facts on the relevant topics, instead of pretending that a goat herder mythology written by piss-stained Bronze Age incels has all the answers. Speaking of said goat herder mythology, apparently you're unaware that it's replete with farcical elementary errors about biology. Looks like your cartoon magic man, if it ever existed, was a dumbfuck.

Now do us all a favour, and take your unwanted palsied drivel to a more appreciative audience, such as a QAnon forum.
