I'd never listened to this song from beginning to end until now. Because I woke up singing it in bed for some reason. But was singing what my childhood self misheard the lyrics as: "hit the b squared". I thought it was a song about Algebra I guess. 
I can be forgiven, because at the time it was released the cool kids didn't say hip or square. That shit was already ancient.

Not a Huey fan, I only know his big hits. There's one that if you don't like, you're square and not hip. Because of the movie it was associated with.

I vaguely remember this song. IIRC it was on Beavis and Butthead and they changed the channel pretty quickly. That might not have happened.
