Well, I haven't recorded in a couple years and just trying to get back into it. I am posting this very rough first pass mic check because my goal is to have the real thing recorded before May 1st, and the more I share it publicly the more likely I am to hold myself to that :teef:

Nice. Reminds me of Fad Gadget.

That organ sound is too loud though.

She has hasn't she? You'd never know she was really a 52yo bread lorry driver from Daventry called Jimmy. :shifty:

Can't hear a thing. I love Madeleine Peyroux's version, so if yours is anything like that ...

Recorded this in a small shack up the side of Loch Lomond with no electricity and a dirt floor on a portable recorder in one take.

Very bluesy. Is that a Dobro style guitar or am I just hearing the reverb from processing?

Just a standard guitar, though I do have a dobro. Guitar and vocals went down together so there will be some spill on the vocal reverb.

Psychedelic rock this time. Once again everything but the drums is me. Working mix that needs some love and eq, but you get the gist. Feedback welcome.
