I still can't believe how far he has fallen as a human. Heartbreaking, in fact. It's the main reason I could no longer stand the place. I used to look up to and respect him at one time.

I have to say, I'ma bit weirded out by 'Forty-Two' and the word 'respect' being used in the same sentence.

It was in his previous carnation I liked him. Then he disappeared for a year and when he came back with a severe anti-'SJW' and -feminist streak and he'd clearly been infected by Alt-Right propoganda. Add Trump to the mix a year later and all of a sudden a person who used to argue intelligently is now reduced to whataboutism and claiming 'fake news' whilst citing Breitbart, Wattsupwiththat, Daily Caller, and even fucking InfoWars.

I've seen a similar progression with a poster here.

In Turkey we have 500 bullet limit for civilians with an amendment brought to assembly this number will increase to 1000.

Just when society discussing that, police began to train reeves with AK-47s. There is no reason for that anywhere in Turkey and especially when some of the weapons given away to civilians during the coup attempt still missing this is raising questions in mind.

Are we preparing for a civil war ?

Edit And by the way this training without cabins or without laying down is very risky, these are assault rifles ffs.

Weighting the statistical breakdown of violence in the US I, as a long time gun advocate, have finally come around 180 and now believe that all the guns should be taken away...

Fucking hypocrits

The National Rifle Association (NRA) has drawn the ire of gun-control advocates over a weapons ban at a forum attended by Vice-President Mike Pence.
Survivors of the Parkland, Florida school shooting have criticised the powerful gun lobby for the weapons ban, saying schools deserve the same.

Schools already ban weapons, though, so what exactly are they asking for?

No they don't. Many schools (including Parkland) have armed guards - did before the shooting - and there are calls for the arming of teachers, which I'm sure they're asking not to be implemented.

Maybe they're just asking for their schools to be as safe as the ones near me, or as safe as Mike Pence at an NRA meeting. No need to read anything into it, they're not being subtle.

Er?

Schools still have a weapons ban. Students and staff cannot bring guns into schools. It is against most state laws. Whether there are talks of arming teachers is neither here nor there.

Courts and hospitals are also places with weapons bans. Are you to tell me they are not because police/guards can carry guns inside them? That is a rather pedantic argument to make.

The ironic thing about this though is the NRA is preventing normal, regular people from being armed around Mike Pence for safety reasons. Despite the fact that they insist responsible gun ownership is 100% safe and that the only people who can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun so what is the cause for alarm?

But to say that schools are not gun free zones is disingenuous and rather naive. Furthermore, schools are far safer for kids in the US than their home and even a random store. Kids are more likely to experience gun related accidents/crime at home than at school. So when you say safe as your schools, I am not sure your comparison is really drastic enough to be poignant.

I'm talking about the Parkland survivors wanting a school system where violent death doesn't happen, or (being realistic about the society in which their schools operate) happens far less often. I don't think they've been unclear about what they'd like to see.

And arming teachers is not "neither here nor there", it's directly relevant, given that it's been proposed in the wake of Parkland, and the Parkland survivors are specifically advocating against it.

So yeah, when "no guns, we want to be safe here" is good enough for Pence, it's pretty clear why they'd want to want to throw that in the face of the organisation that advocates "guns everywhere" as a safety strategy for students.

I guarantee there will be plenty of guns at that forum, they'll be carried by LEOs and of course the Secret Service.

Parkland Students Protest At Publix After Grocer Donates To Pro-NRA Candidate
JOE RAEDLE
After a student-led die-in, Publix is cancelling donations to a Florida gubernatorial candidate.

Since the February shooting in Parkland, Florida, school shootings haven't stopped. That's not surprising, since politicians are still by and large refusing to try to do anything to curb gun violence. But the Parkland survivors, the teen activists behind the March for Our Lives and the boycott that caused Laura Ingraham to lose two dozen corporate sponsors, aren't fading into the background.

Publix also pulled its funding to Planned Parenthood. They are a scummy company.
