A classic

Turkish President Erdoğan’s name written on ballot paper in Dutch elections

Image

Dutch government has the right to allow such a meeting or not but detaining the minister when she want to go in our embassy was wrong. Also our foreign minister said "if you have concerns about the elections I can come there after the elections" but that's rejected too. In my opinion at this point two friendly countries which have embassies and a lot of ties have to define their relations.

As I said before Dutch have the right not to allow AKP leaders but without any rational reason AKP taking it as a hostile act and if the Dutch government's or any other European country's aim is to lower AKP votes they have to know that they actually served AKP pretty well and increased their ratings on polls 2 points.

I wish especially Germany and other countries would announce that they won't send any tourists just like Russia did last year that would break AKP's belly imo.

Of course the Dutch government has right. There are rights and there are values and sometimes the two intersect.

I am afraid, however, that the German government nor the Dutch one does not have powers to send tourists anywhere. As I said before, Turks cant rely on outside power to solve their problems as its their fight. You are having referendum, what is to fear? Fellow citizens?

Three children not enough, have five: Erdoğan to Turks in EU

Let’s send 15,000 migrants a month to Europe to shock them: Turkish interior minister

And then they call European leaders radical. Talking that way will only increase hostilities against Turks in the countries they live.

I dont have time to read links at the moment but I heard from Erdoßan a lot of times that its ugly and offensive to use the words moderate and Islam together. Also this is not unique to Erdoßan, all politicians say it even left wing opposition.

Turks in Germany divided as voting begins in Erdogan referendum

Turkish voters in Germany, as deeply split as those in their ancestral homeland, started casting early ballots on Monday in a referendum that could vastly boost President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's powers.

[snip]

She said she regretted that Turks and Germans "who have lived together for 60 years in Germany - neighbours, friends, work colleagues - are arguing today".

"It's a shame ... that suddenly we wonder if some are integrated or not, just because they vote this way or that."

Why you suddenly wonder? Oh wait!

His party, supported the grand mufti of Egypt, a wolf in sheep's clothing, accusing everyone of being a "wolf". History. There's a reason why parties like his get banned, why the fuck we let them back into humanity, just because they claim they are "reformed" only fuck knows! How does a Nazi supporting? appeasing party, become liberal? Really?

Well there was a video report on the Dutch news where he could be seen instructing his bodyguard. Two have been arrested but have diplomatic immunity. He claims they were PKK terrorists.
