Tim Farron says Lib Dems led "quiet revolution inside Whitehall" on green issues while in coalition with "out of touch" Tories.

Farron on the SNP: "on a personal level it is hard to see them on our benches in the commons"

SNP MPs don't sit where Liberals did. The Liberals sat on government benches with the Tories - we haven't forgotten!

Seems it's down to me to rescue the Libdem (rip) thread from languishing in irrelevance on page 10.
Today has been an EXCELLENT day for Scottish Libdem (rip) leader Wee Willie Rennie, bless his cotton socks. I hope Cameron doesn't see this video, it's probably of .... particular interest to him.

I bet the Scottish Lib Dems never dreamed their campaign event would make the news in Russia. Great effort everyone.

A tremendous video from @godden78 of Willie Rennie failing to establish his dominance over an eagle.

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Wee Willie gets his moment on network BBC Newsnight tonight. Sadly for him, it was just the pig porno video, with added sound effects.

I voted for a Lib Dem today!

In the Police and Crime Commissioner election, - because one of his points was to argue to abolish the post of Police and Crime Commissioner and replace it with better local democratic accountability. The Greens weren't even standing for the post for much the same reason. Most of the other candidates seemed to be fairly right wing authoritarian types.
[Disclaimer - if this is comes across like I think I know what I'm talking about, I want to make it clear that I don't. I'm just trying to get my thoughts down]

I for one appreciate your sacrifice :-)

And your LibDem candidate is right - PCCs should be replaced with a police authority

It's not within his remit to abolish the role, however. He'll probably just see it as a mandate to milk the gravy train like a UKIP MEP.

My labour candidate is a massive twat and right-wing authoritarian goon, I don't know if I'll actually bother to vote (no council elections here). Of course, if I don't it will be claimed that is because corbyn is BFFs with hamas or somesuch.

Eh, maybe I will turn out, I have to cancel out minininja's vote now

I love how this thread has developed, originally it was all news items about what the yellow tories were perpetrating while they were in office, now it's a news item when someone actually votes for them

Did they now? Did they do this before or after they supported the Government on voting against the EU ban on neonicotinoids?

They were the greenest government ever, because blue and yellow makes green.

Astonishingly for a party with no money, allegations of electoral fraud by the yellow tories in relation to their own 'battlebus' have come to light and I wanted to post the video of it getting stuck on a drive, but can't figure out how to embed tweets.

Could you just do a screen capture of the relevant bit, then upload it as a picture? I don't do Twitter, so wouldn't know if there's a more elegant method.
