Talk about shooting yourself in the foot:

Clegg says he is joining Facebook to help ensure 'technology is a force for good'

I am looking forward to being part of this endeavour. Throughout my public life I have relished grappling with difficult and controversial issues and seeking to communicate them to others. I hope to use some of those skills in my new role.

Totally deluded.

It's not deluded. It's a prevarication. Besides that, neither 'relishing' nor 'grappling' is a skill. Nor is 'seeking'. Once I was blind, but now I see.

Well, see: The question is about whether Clegg knows the difference. You'd like to say he doesn't, but he's smarter than you are. If you're a fucking genius, then this is not saying much.

So fucking naive. The date is the 11-12-18 when the vote will happen. 31-03-19 is when the UK leaves. Dont they understand that? There is nothing to talk about. Do they think the EU will keep the gate open for ever?

Scottish Libdem conference.

LibDem deputy leader @joswinson introduced as “unseating the odious @MrJohnNicolson” which got the biggest round of applause so far.

Oh I'm really not lol. I'll be voting for Scottish Independence again, probably very soon.

By contrast your party has this weekend been telling Scots that leaving UK would be even worse than brexit. So no matter how bad brexit is, and how much your party opposes it, we need to suck it up. There's your status quo.

Did you know Wee Willie Rennie wouldnt even talk to the SNP Scottish govt about concessions in exchange for passing the budget, something previous libdems have done? It's how a PR Parliament is supposed to work, and has in the past with the involvement of the libdems. And the reason Rennie wouldnt even talk? He demanded that SNP abandon independence.

Fucking waste of time, the libdems.

That doesn't make any sense really. No matter which prism you look through, I'm hardly advocating the status quo, especially compared to you.

Now the libdems, in cahoots with the other unionist parties in Scotland, are SO in favour of the status quo, they stand pretend candidates against each other to consolidate the anti SNP vote, with funding from shady groups that swamp the spending the SNP (with 100,000+ members) can muster.

That status quo Carl ... is it worth it?

Ever wonder how the East Dunbartonshire LibDems raised less than £100 in membership fees in 2016 but managed to spend a staggering £100,000 in election year 2017? They’re awash with cash. But who donates and why? More great research from @IndyScot_News

You know what got me - that @agcolehamilton PERSONALLY delivered smearing leaflets to my own house (he knows where I live as very close to him). It caused my daughter extreme anxiety and sadness. Not the actions of a family man.

https://twitter.com/MichelleThomson/sta ... 8206600192

I’m so sorry you went through this Michelle. As a journalist I can tell you that one thing unites Labour, Tory, and SNP politicians - recognition of the foul campaigns the @LibDems run. And Mr Hamilton stands as an especially unsavoury practitioner of LibDem campaign techniques.

https://twitter.com/MrJohnNicolson/stat ... 0899449856

Some mistake surely.
