He's a fucking idiot. £12 a year until you're 70 and then you have a "pretty good plan"? Does he think people don't get ill till you're 70? He also referred to pre-existing conditions like the did "the nuclear" as in "the coverage on pre-existing will be great!"

So he has no clue on anything to do with anything but "he's like a smart person"

Marc Kasowitz and Mark Corallo depart Trump's legal team

There's been a shakeup in President Trump's legal team.

Marc Kasowitz is out as Mr. Trump's personal attorney, CBS News chief White House correspondent Major Garrett reports. And Kasowitz's spokesman, Mark Corallo, has resigned, Garrett says.

The reasons for the moves were not immediately known.

What's really telling, is the fact that lawyers are deserting him. Usually, lawyers only depart when they think there's a shitstorm on the horizon, involving prosecutions that they might become mired in. Otherwise, they stick around and collect the loot, especially if the client is rich enough.

If lawyers start parting company with someone who has a nine-figure fortune, you can deduce from this parting of the ways, that the lawyers in question think there's something very dodgy about the client they've parted from. Lawyers don't turn down a rich source of income, unless they think doing so will keep them away from soap on a rope in prison. Furthermore, given some of the dodgy clients that some lawyers have stuck with in the past, this is a major red flag that something is rotten enough at the core of the Trump kleptocracy to scare the shit out of them.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall when they start talking about what they know to those nice men from the FBI ...

maybe they found out what I suspected** all along:
a) he is actually personally bankrupt.
b) a one term presidency was his pension plan.

b) is failing so expensively, that they think he can't afford them once a) becomes publically known.

I love it that the lawyer had a spokesman and he had to resign also. But why would he? He must have been hired by the crooks, I mean admin, to be the mouthpiece for only Trump.

It's not like we get all the goodies ourselves. We are sharing Trump too! First the Paris agreement, now this!
Six months ago, one powerful white man in the White House, watched by seven more, signed a piece of paper that will prevent millions of women around the world from deciding what they can and can’t do with their own bodies.

In that moment, on his very first Monday morning in office, Donald Trump effectively signed the death warrants of thousands of women. He reversed global progress on contraception, family planning, unsustainable population growth and reproductive rights. His executive order even has implications for the battle against HIV, tuberculosis and malaria.

Rarely can the presidential pen have been flourished to such devastating effect. The policy it reintroduced will shut health clinics in Uganda and HIV programmes in Mozambique; it will compel women from Nepal to Namibia to seek out deadly back-street abortions.

“It is an unprecedented attack on women’s rights – it goes much deeper than abortion,” said Ulla Müller, president and CEO of EngenderHealth, a leading advocacy organisation.

Tewodros Melesse, director general of the the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), which stands to lose as much as $100m, said the US move “seeks to restrict the rights of millions of women. It asks us as a health provider, to stop providing services which are entirely legal in countries through our members – where some of the most poorest women, depend on them.

I hope this means the beginning of the end for Sessions.

Washington Post wrote:
Russia’s ambassador to Washington told his superiors in Moscow that he discussed campaign-related matters, including policy issues important to Moscow, with Jeff Sessions during the 2016 presidential race, contrary to public assertions by the embattled attorney general, according to current and former U.S. officials.

Ambassador Sergey Kislyak’s accounts of two conversations with Sessions — then a top foreign policy adviser to Republican candidate Donald Trump — were intercepted by U.S. spy agencies, which monitor the communications of senior Russian officials both in the United States and in Russia. Sessions initially failed to disclose his contacts with Kislyak and then said that the meetings were not about the Trump campaign.

Interesting timing. Trump wants Sessions out of the way so he can can replace him with a more obedient AG, to put a leash on Mueller.
