One of the side-effects of my treatment is that my hair turns white. Over the last couple of months, one treatment has failed and I’ve started another. Ok, fine, but I’ve ended up with a hairstyle like a badger, as I am on treatment, stop treatment and then start a new treatment. Now that I can’t go to the hairdresser, I can’t cover it up, so it’s white, 2 cm dark stripe, white.

Zinc supplements are a big seller locally.

I also learned that for those antiseptic wipes everyone is hoarding it's not sufficient to wipe surfaces, but the surface you're trying to sanitize must be 'visibly wet' for many minutes and not simply swiped.

Mine goes up to 20mm. The only problem is that I can only really do all one length, which is a problem because the only instruction I know how to give to the barber is "this but shorter" so I could easily end up with that haircut forever.

Don't behead yourself to spite your haircut. "This, but shorter" only goes so far.

Flattening the curve!!

It appears that one of the reasons for flour shortages in supermarkets here is more to do with the actual packaging rather the flour itself. The spike in demand meant companies used up their stock of, for example, 5kg bags much quicker than usual and there's a significant delay for them to be restocked.

I found plenty of flour at the bulk food store. I think a lot of people are finding out that baking decent bread isn't as simple as it looks on youtube, lol.
