I suspect their plan is to drive the economy into suicide mode, in order to set up Starmer to suffer the same fate as the Weimar Republic, to pave the way for a future Tory Reich ...

At least hitler got the trains to run on time (well one of his minions did by introducing punch cards). The only thing this shower can run is shit into our rivers.

Pop Con - FFS.

Liz Truss targets 'secret Tories' with new campaign (BBC)

Truss, Mogg, Anderson, Farage - obviously Patel and Braverman were too left-wing for them.

Gargoyles on parade.

This is all about carving out political territory in the post-election landscape. Truss, Rees-Mogg, Anderson et al are just trying to book their season ticket on the politics gravy train. Attention is currency in the marketplace of ideas.

Civil servants have threatened ministers with legal action over concerns that senior Home Office staff could be in breach of international law if they implement the government’s Rwanda deportation bill.

The FDA union, which represents senior civil servants, have warned they could also be in violation of the civil service code – and open to possible prosecution – if they followed a minister’s demands to ignore an urgent injunction from Strasbourg banning a deportation.

The FDA has sent a pre-action legal letter to James Cleverly, the home secretary, calling for clarity – with a request to either amend the legislation or change the code.

In a development which appears to set the government on a collision course with the union, the Cabinet Office last night declined to address the union’s concerns...

Liz Truss backs Donald Trump to win US presidential election (BBC)

And wants Nigel Farage as a Tory MP

And
Ms Truss's prognosis is a complete overhaul of the political system, including "abolishing quite a lot of things".

International organisation like the United Nations (UN), which she says no longer has "a purpose", are also on the chopping block.

Tory MP Mark Menzies suspended over alleged misuse of campaign funds (BBC)

and

Tory response to MP Mark Menzies allegations appalling, says activist (BBC)

Because who hasn't been locked in a flat by criminals demanding money at 3 am?

Seems pretty standard behaviour for a Tory MP, hence the inaction of the whips.

Anyone else spot Cruella Braverman charging the Belgium politicat with being "thought police" for closing down the far-right National Conservatism Conference? Not bad after giving a speech urging nations to abandon their commitment to the European Convention on Human Rights, not mention being the UK Home Secretary who brought in draconian anti-protest and free-speech laws that can see you detained and charged if the police believe you might be thinking about attending a demonstration.

As for Mark Menzies: sounds like cocaine psychosis to me.
