Um. Um. No. Not on. This is how the Scottish NHS gets included in US takeover of the English NHS, even though all 4 parts of the UK have entirely different and separate health systems.

Another consequential detail of Great Repeal Bill - Fox's trade deals with third parties require "common UK frameworks" - ie not so devolved

ACTUAL headline in Daily Telegraph. This is not a drill - UK has gone mad :shifty: .

Britain's Navy is 'far weaker' than it was during the Falklands but could still 'cripple' Spain

So, uh, Nicola is gonna seize the Trident if this escalates, right? I'm allergic to nuclear war.

It's ok, don't tell anyone, but the subs going up and down the Clyde are carboard cutouts stuck on the side of a pedalo. The Russians may not be fooled, if I'm honest.

How can you? Here's a government that held a vote to make the biggest changes in living memory to Britain without the slightest plan for how Brexit would even work, other than the "plan" that it would all obviously go swimmingly, because that's what they'd promised.

If that's not enough, they're now lecturing others on how votes on whether to cut and run from the shitstorm should not be held because of uncertainty on what it all means. Despite the high stakes, there's no real sign that the UK government are taking this seriously themselves. It's a freak show.

But does Howard really think he can go around stating these stupid statements? Is he so removed (as are many) from reality?
I mean this is Europe! You dont threaten your present partners. This is pure Trumpian. We should open Guantánamo for mad leaders. The world is not safe with these madmen running around.

Well £2 to start with.

Then £3, then £4.

All entirely compatible with the Mugabe school of economics.

Sadly, I think it probably would impress some of the brexit voters. :(

This Brexit thing. It seems to be going ahead.

Does this mean that there is no chance of it being cancelled and that Remainers are banging their heads against a brick wall?

If so, I find that depressing.

There seems to be little that one can do besides ultimate force. But that isn't 'our way'. :(
