Weird, like the mass is being converted in some way.....

Well it remains on the planet, so its not contributing in a net change to planetary mass.

Yes, into energy that the body uses to function?

Well it remains on the planet, so its not contributing in a net change to planetary mass.

I declare! That it does. Even if it's .000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%. All of that, over billion of years, adds up? But again, like I said, it probably isn't much. IE, if you added up all of the chalk layers globally, it's probably not as much as diamond (because apparently there's more diamond than sand), or other mantle materials.

So if we a losing mass due to energy consumption through death and digestion, where does the 1000W/m^2 go that we receive from the sun?

Do you really think no one has looked into this?

Read the thread. This is well trod ground.

You are confusing mass with density. Mass doesn’t change with a change in density. Are you suggesting that earth might have been more dense in the past?

Judging by this thread, it is more dense now.

I never said we're losing anything from things being eaten etc. I'm saying that the things that do ultimately end up in the ground over time, would effect the mass. Or does energy from the sun, change the mass? That don't work, nor does it change the density.

But yes, sorry, I haven't read through nearly 600 pages yet. Maybe you could simply, post the link to the post that describes this stuff?

Campemon said we're losing atmosphere, just a tiny bit each year, which is believable considering we're not in a dome / closed system? (or are we, because the atmosphere alone weighs a few ton per square inch, as Thunderf00t once said in a video.. & Google "The total mass of Earth's atmosphere is about 5.5 quadrillion tons, or roughly one millionth of Earth's mass." .. So how does it escape gravity in the 1st place? Nvm?) But what does that have to do with the actual density (yeh yeh correct, mass vs desity, well done here's a medal ), or continents or Earth 'growing' - not 'inflating' like some balloon, but bits over time being added... - & yes sure, a simulation animation, is not 100% correct because - obviously?

Oh no, another YouTuber...

Ok well.. This one is amazing. Idk what any of you guys or gals think of this because I haven't seen 1 mention anywhere, not can I find any thread about this ones research. I was going to mention this guys research in this thread;

http://www.rationalskepticism.org/pseud ... 11880.html

...But it deserves a whole thread for itself.

I suggest this one 1st.

If he's a troll, he's good at his 'job' :what:

There's a ton of stuff mentioned in the videos he releases. I'm not going to make a list. Sorry. Just, if you have time to 'waste', check it out sometime. Idcm.

It was a serious question. It would explain a lot, and would make me more tolerant of his posting.

Serious question?

Ok, well I don't consider it spam, as it is just information from a person who does research. If it's spam (in your opinion mods) then fine, delete it. The only main reason why I started the thread, is because there as no search result for "Suspicious0bservers", and the content is interesting. But sure, 'attack' me & not the content (as usual lol) .

Note: Thread was moved from "Astronomy & Space Science".

Nice, but the serious question was how old are you?

Adult behavior > or = or < childish behavior?

It doesn't matter if I was under 50 or over 50, tbh, imo.

It was just a question. I agree with Ev. If it turns out you’re a teenager, your posts would be received differently by many.

It is content free nonsense. You've posted up a video claiming you find it "interesting." Yes? and, so, what?
There's no attempt from you to start any discourse, setting out your views, the evidence base that underpins them and why anyone should take the time to consider the content of this video.

That you find it interesting is not a reason or a compulsion on anyone else to watch it. You're just some person on the internet posting videos.

I’m not suggest anything, I’m trying to figure out just what the fuck you are getting at. You seem to be suggesting that biological functions add mass to the earth, and that the energy used to do so converts to mass. If you could be clearer in your language and produce a sentence that can be properly parsed, you might get the response you deserve.

There’s a search function at the top of this page. I suggest you familiarize yourself with it.

Nothing. You’re the one speculating on additional mass from somewhere not me.
