Dunno. Didn't count.

Anyway, this looks like a stylised, Kelly's Heroes affair.

Loving the meltdown of Alt-right types crying because you can customise your character on the MP. Suddenly acting as if they care about historical accuracy.

Loving the new features of this game.

You can turn in prone rather than shuffling around slowly in the prone position. Rolling over on your back to accommodate looking behind.

As medic you can drag people out of the firing line before reviving.

You can attach and tow mortar cannons and the like around to different locations in your tank. Players can operate them as you do so.

You can dive left or right and through Windows.

You can build structures like fox-holes and repair damaged buildings.

    Bad Company 2 style destruction.

A bunch of new changes to classes to ensure working together is more tactical and rewarding. Too much to go into here.

That's just some of the things. I'm mildly optimistic about this one.

Shotgun is as about as damaging as confetti at 20ft: Meh, SG was OP. You don't want true realism in games, it wouldn't be fun.

For those who haven't tried it yet, Borderlands 2 is free this week-end on Steam.

After the reaction for police shooting game now school shooting one, somebody want to point fingers on gaming scene as in the begining of 2000s after Columbine shooting.

Been playing Bloodstained: Curse Of The Moon, which was a stretch goal for the main Bloodstained game, a 2.5d metroidvania indie title by the guy who used to make them back in the day. Curse Of The Moon, on the other hand, is enhanced 8 bit graphics like Shovel Knight, it's basically a love letter to Castlevania 3 with modernized controls. And man, it's a fucking blast! The soundtrack isn't that hot, it's only 5 levels and the normal setting is honestly way too easy (I'm hoping the difficulty gets cranked up in NG+), but I'll take this over ugly-ass 2.5d garbage any day.

I'm playing a little game called Old Man's Journey. Beautiful art and not much to do but look at it as you pass it by. And I'm good with that. I'm sensing it's a short game though and I don't really want to say goodbye to these places.

Question: has anyone played Detention? It looks pretty and a little creepy, but I'm wondering if it's worth waiting for a discount before grabbing it.

This news is six days old but as none of the major gaming sites seem to be covering it I'm only finding out today. Rainbow Moon sequel Rainbow Skies got a release date of June 27th.

I finished it. Old Man's Journey. Very beautiful. My only complaint is that it needed more of everything. More life going on, more to do, more of the gorgeous artistry. But I quite liked it. :)

10 minutes into Breath of the Wild and all I had done was roll the most satisfactory rock ever down a hill and I felt this game was something special. After an hour this goes up there with Dark Souls as a game I feel excels in the industry and will influence games for years.

Yesterday I tried to finish Dragon Quest Builders. There's a challenge, in the last chapter, asking you to fight the final boss without the special gear you build for the fight (sword, armor, shield). So I tried that. What they didn't say, is that the boss removes everything you have in your inventory before the fight, inclluding other gear you might have. So I found myself fighting the final boss naked, with my bare fists, doing 1 damage point on every hit. I did pretty good (removing him 10% in about 20mn) until the boss popped monsters. Killing them, still with 1 damage, and avoiding his attacks at the same time proved too much for me.

nearly at the end of detroit....i love quantic dream's games, ever since nomad soul/omikron, but currently thinking this may become my favourite...

thinking of delving into vampyr next but might wait and see what reviews say...

Breath of the Wild was arguably one of my favourite games last year and has a ton of replay value to this day.
