Keith Richards must have been watching the last 2-3 years wondering if he really is truly immortal.

Newsthump has done the best tribute to Keith Flint, despite being a satire site.

Yes, very disconcerting. :nono:
No reassurance to be found in this article either...

Luke Perry’s fatal stroke is a warning for younger adults
And while strokes are more prevalent in older adults, an increasing number of stroke survivors are between the ages of 18 to 65, with a 44% rise in the number of young adults hospitalized due to stroke in the past decade. Some 15% of ischemic strokes (those from blocked arteries) occur in young adults and adolescents.

That one covers ischaemic stroke.

And to reduce the risk of the other one (haemorrhagic stroke), eat your dark chocolate!

Saw a print article about a while back suggesting that many modern-day humans might have a slight deficiency of dietary copper. Deficiency of copper was almost non-existent in the days of copper kettles and copper water pipes, but may have emerged along with the recent preeminence of plastic water pipes and stainless steel cookware, said the author/s.
Dietary copper plays a role in the formation of collagen connective tissue. Too little copper means impaired collagen formation means weaker artery walls means increased risk of aneurysm (ballooning of weakened artery wall) means increased risk of haemorrhagic stroke.

Dark chocolate is a good source of dietary copper. Also tree nuts. So I guess chocolate-coated almonds, hazelnuts etc. should be super-good!

Then she just seemed to disappear. Or maybe she simply moved on to things I was less likely to take notice of.
She battled through in every kind of tribulation,
She revelled in adventure and imagination.
She never listened to no hater, liar,
Breaking boundaries and chasing fire.
Oh, my my! Oh my, she flies!

She apparently had drug and depression problems during the 90s but since then was doing various bits of voice-over work.

Nooooooooooooo :waah: :waah:
https://www.tmz.com/2019/03/08/airwolf-star-jan-michael-vincent-dead/

Jan-Michael Vincent -- the '80s heartthrob best known for his role on TV's "Airwolf" -- has died ... TMZ has learned.

Jan-Michael actually died back on February 10 after suffering cardiac arrest while a patient at a North Carolina hospital ... according to the death certificate. We're told no autopsy was performed and he was later cremated.

Holy shit this is the third time happening this week. Now I think it was a huge mistake to call how badly Luke Perry aged.

This guy was the definition of handsome in dictionary.

Yeah we'll, Luke Perry did age rather well. I saw him in a few TV shows (including Leverage), and he still could act. On the other hand, from the article I posted :

Jan-Michael was most recently in the 2002 movie, "White Boy" ... but he had a long, successful career in TV and film.

His CBS hit, "Airwolf," made him into a huge star. At the time, he was reportedly the highest-paid actor at $200k per episode. Jan-Michael played helicopter pilot Stringfellow Hawke on the show, but the series lasted only a couple seasons largely in part to the star's cocaine abuse. His acting career would ultimately suffer from it.

Jan-Michael nearly died in 2012 from an infection that required his right leg to be amputated.
