He was a greater painter than an actor, albeit a bit slow. 16 years to paint the Sistine Chapel. And that was just the ceiling. Sheesh! With a 24 inch medium nap roller I could have done it in a day or two.

This was an avoidable accident, and took place in poor weather; the aircraft was apparently not on an instrument flight plan, and impacted hilly terrain in conditions of poor visibility and low ceiling. The flight took off from Orange County Airport, about 100 km SE of the accident site and was near its destination at the time of the crash.
