Kinda like the Red Wedding.
The problem with fantasies is you can't really insist that everyone else believes in yours, the other problem with fantasies is that most believers of fantasies eventually get around to doing exactly that.

Funnily enough, your name shows up in NB's index in the OP. Mine doesn't. :dunno:

This online index was limited to users with more than n posts where n was something like 300 or so. Maybe you had less than n posts. You should be in the full download, though.

I had at least 11,500 posts -all of which were bollcoks of course! :dopey: :dopey:

It was worth it bro -sticking it to Josh and Andrew!

The rest of the mod team were not too impressed at my unilateral decision.

What happened to you and Maz was a fucking OUTRAGE!

To Maz yes. I was never really mod material --I was too partizan.

They were mods, who on the day of the day of OUTRAGE disagreed with the course being taken and had their accounts, along with all their posts, deleted from the database by an incompetent idiot who didn't have the first clue about what was going on or how to operate the forum software, and who took exception to having that pointed out.

It goes without saying that we weren't all very excited by the proposed changes but, as they say, it's been done to death and much water has been passed since.

OUCH!
I have NO BELIEF in the existence of a God or gods. I do not have to offer evidence nor do I have to determine absence of evidence because I do not ASSERT that a God does or does not or gods do or do not exist.

Seems the forum is completely gone now? Still downloading the archive... is it searchable? Or has anyone set up a search engine for it?

The archive download has no search functionality. But it is just a collection of html files, so you can use any desktop search engine to index and search it. (For example the default Windows Desktop Search by telling Windows to index the folder)

Thanks. It took me at least 12 hours to unpack the file, and I'm not using FileSeek to sift through the files. I've already found some interesting stuff. Good old days, eh?
