In the right place at the right time, anything can happen. But I would say the most likely place for a random hookup would be in the early hours of the morning at closing time in a pub or club and whilst all parties are under the influence of something. If that doesn't work, you can always try famous Dogging spots.

Other than that, the only place where it happens is in dubious porn movies with shit storylines.

Could it be porn distorting some guys' views on real live women, relationships and sex. Where else but porn would anyone seriously think that this would in any way increase their chances of sexual activity? and if that wasn't the intention, why harass a woman in the first place?

Before anyone jumps on me: I'm not blaming porn per se, just some people's misuse/abuse due to its abundance in the net. Too much can't be good for some people, I'd say some occasional usage wouldn't make much harm though.

Unlike Epeke, I don't keep my eyes down in front of me. (Except around the West End where there's all that dog shit.) I've never seen a more fortified place with police than Manhattan, especially around mid-town. It boggles the mind. It feels reasonably safe there in the daytime to me. Of course I'm a 39 year old man, it helps, even if I'm short.

What is the point of this comment? Sure, technically, women do it too on occasion, but men are far worse than women when it comes to this sort of harassment, and we all know it.

The point is (I think) that they can't just have a day where they are not being approached, where they are left to walk from point A to B in peace. I know this must be a wonderful thought for guys, to be constantly 'picked up', but it's annoying, and on some days even upsetting - this of course depends on how aggressive the approaches have been.
