Spay/Neuter the majority, based on IQ tests. Only allow the intelligent to reproduce. Encourage promiscuity, so eventually there are no racial differences, we'll all be a lovely café au lait color. Recycle old folks ala Soylent Green. Build starships. Conquer the galaxy.

Pretty simple, actually.

Suppose we developed the strawberry to squeak when it was ripe and ready to be picked. Would a Vegan eat it?

If a strawberry squeaks in the field and nobody hears it, is it still ripe?

I made an extraordinary morrocan root veg stew served over couscous with diced apricots.

All I fucking want is some ras-el-hanout chicken and goat cheese.

'Chicken and goat cheese'.

Interesting.

Now personally I am on a mission to save domesticated sheep from extinction.

The only way I can see this happening sensibly is to eat them.

Now if those callous vegetarians and vegans want them to go extinct, then it is gastronomy to the death.

This is actually a big problem. Not enough people eating mutton has driven the price of wool up, and wool can be one of the more environmentally responsible (and versatile and durable) natural textiles on the market. It's just not as economically feasible to raise the sheep for wool only. My wife complains about this a LOT as she's in fashion design and wool is her favorite textile.

More sheep = more sheep meats = low low prices on donner kebabs.

And donner kebabs are probably my viceiest vice. I don't have them often but when I do, they are like a dirty mouth orgasm.

I don't think those would be very popular here:

ETA: Using the power of Google, I see that they sell very well here, managing to exclude unfortunate associations with cannibalism by spelling it with only one "n".

I've been up to Donner Pass. Also to the site of the Mountain Meadows massacre. We've a surprising amount of bloody, freaky history along the Wasatch Mountains. 8-)

I wouldn't know. I don't eat sheep. :shifty: We do a really good fish kebab at home, though.

Donor kebabs. Close your eyes and don't think too much about what they're carving off that brown cylinder with what looks like a pair of hair clippers.
