Coolness! Of course people can make their own if they like. Just remember it can't be too big - 6 cm x 4 cm is the max size of the card insert.

I seem to have dumped the original version of my avatar. I can live with a small-ish image, presuming these are regular-sized ID cards, so can you get by with the one on this page?

Put it this way, I pinched Goldenmane's avatar to play with and when I tried to make it a bit bigger, it became quite blurry. So if he has a bigger version I'd rather work with that and size it down.
I've just done Durro's and although it's quite small, I've managed to make it bigger quite easily with some manipulation (oooh, the fun of double entendres! I'm feeling positively Mrs Slocum)
So if you have a bigger version of your avatar, post that for me. Also, what wording you want and if you want some colour (I have a colour laser printer!).
Durro, do you want any colour for the text?

I thought of name badges a couple of days age and whipped up this one for myself. I assume we get an ordinary badge with our real name on it at registration, so left my name off this one - maybe I'll pen it on.

Aaahh, great minds!
I'm having trouble printing them on the actual cards (so fiddly, especially with a big laser printer) so I'm printing them on normal paper and slotting them in with the cards. Still look pretty good though I reckon!
Actually I hadn't thought about getting one at registration! Dammit, I'll end up wearing three
