Pareto efficiency leads to homogeneity and I'd rather more variety were preserved....don't want things to get boring.

Not to mention the inadvisability of flying/shipping stuff all over the planet to save a few pence for the consumer and to hell with the resultant carbon impact.

Macron knows that flattery works on Trump, and has said as much in interviews. He comes across as despising Trump, but knowing that he needs to deal with him as holder of his office, so does so, while effectively trying to play him.

That's not really bromance though.

After Trump's attempt at his bonecrusher handshake, Macron admitted hurting Trump in return, saying that he thought it was a stupid game unbefitting of the offices the two of them hold, but if Trump insisted on playing, Macron insisted on winning.

So yeah, stupid CNN headline is stupid, and doesn't even accurately reflect the content of the video.

And he just threw his VA pick under the bus. Perhaps it's more like a derailed train now rather than a bus.

Excuse me if this has already been posted, it's a bit old, but hilarious:

How American politics goes
1 Republicans cut tax, let everything run down to barely working...8 years
2 Democrats fix public spending to normal...8 years
Rinse, repeat.

This is precisely what happened in Canada. Corporations did shareholder buybacks and then stuffed the rest into a mattress.

After intensive undercover research the FBI has finally managed to find the source of inspiration for Trump's behaviour:
"Respect for personal beliefs = "I am going to tell you all what I think of YOU, but don't dare retort and tell what you think of ME because...it's my personal belief". Hmm. A bully's charter and no mistake."

After a half hour meltdown via phone on early morning tv, Michael Avenatti says that he would like to see Mr. Trump on Fox & Friends every day.

Belfast Telegraph
Trump visit to UK confirmed for Friday the 13th of July

Unlucky for some...
US President Donald Trump will make a controversial working visit to the UK and will hold talks with Theresa May.

That is, if she's still around...

Just heard about that, the Faux News host desperately ended the call [before Trumpenführer could incriminate himself more clearly], usually they try to keep it going.
