King will lose his seat on three panels, including the Judiciary Committee, where he served as chairman of the subcommittee on the Constitution and civil justice.

Unbelievable move by Kevin McCarthy. GOP leadership actually scores a point. Let's hope this is a message from McCarthy to the rest of the House.

NEW YORK—As part of its effort to provide the most comprehensive reporting possible on the freshman congresswoman, Fox News announced Wednesday the debut of a new premium television channel that will offer continuous, around-the-clock updates on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). “For an extra $8.99 per month, you’ll have an all-access pass to the AOC Zone, which features wall-to-wall coverage of every word Ocasio-Cortez utters, as well as in-depth analysis of her wardrobe and any videos we’re able to dig up from her college days,” said Fox spokesperson Avery Mattison, adding that the new channel will include uninterrupted live footage of the 29-year-old representative every time she appears in public, along with nonstop commentary from a 12-person panel of experts. “We know our viewers will come to depend on this outlet for 24-hour coverage of AOC, which is why her tweets, Instagram posts, and her latest wacky policy proposals will appear in a ticker at the bottom of the screen. We’re particularly excited for the premiere of the channel’s flagship program, AOC Tonight With Tucker Carlson.” Minutes after AOC Zone began broadcasting, sources confirmed its ratings had already surpassed those of Fox News.

Republicans turn into big spenders with little tax income.
F**k the balanced budget! GOP proposes 70 billion homeland security, the wall and some token Democrat causes.

Climate change could end up buggering Repugnant-leaning US states;

US climate costs will be highest in Republican strongholds

Researchers compared the projected economic impacts of global warming by the end of the century — including changes in mortality, agricultural yields and coastal damage driven by extreme weather and rising seas, for example — to recent voting patterns across the United States.

They found that vast swaths of the Republican-leaning southwest and southeast could see economic losses of 10–28% by the end of the century (see ‘Geography of impact’). Meanwhile, northern regions that include many Democratic-voting states, will experience fewer impacts and could even benefit from some of the results of climate change, including increases in agricultural yields.

Well at least the Democrats are lookin' out for... ah, :ask:

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam apologized on Friday for appearing in a "clearly racist and offensive" costume in his 1984 medical school yearbook. The photo shows a person wearing blackface standing next to another person wearing a Ku Klux Klan robe.

Criticism from the right and left mounted Friday night, including calls for the governor to resign.

Northam, a Democrat, said in a statement: "I am deeply sorry for the decision I made to appear as I did in this photo and for the hurt that decision caused then and now."

Your fuckwitted whataboutism is hilarious SP, especially when you post someone who's being called out by democrats (pointed out in the very article you're quoting) and apologizing (again, in the very article you're quoting) for their actions, in your response to an action where republicans aren't calling it out, and not apologizing for further enriching the already wealthy. But hey, keep showing that conservatives couldn't form a reasoned point if their lives depended on it

Apologizing? :ask: Are you even familiar with this event or are you just blowing your arse onto the forum.

whataboutism? What a stupid word, mind you, it's great for shutting down any and all objections. I'd guess its origin came from the Libtard faction.

Didn't read your own article, did you? Didn't even read the part of your own article that you copied and pasted in the thread, did you?

Here, let me quote it again for you, copied straight for your post:

Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam apologized on Friday for appearing in a "clearly racist and offensive" costume in his 1984 medical school yearbook.

I mean, are you trying to make the things you post look this thoughtless and stupid, or does it come naturally?

whataboutism? What a stupid word, mind you,

Translation: "Waaaahhh, waaaaahhh, you accurately called out my fuckwitted tactics! :waah: "

it's great for shutting down any and all objections.

Yeah, calling out poorly designed arguments for what they are, and detailing why, tends to shut them down. Try making a real point involving some sort of actual thought, and you may not find yourself getting shut down so easily and often. I mean, I know crying victim when the stupid shit you say is called out is the only tactic you've got, but at least put in a little effort, hm?

I'd guess its origin came from the Libtard faction.

This approach suffers from failure to offer any reasons to prefer Republicanism. I imagine you think you've already taken care of those details, but that's not your aim, is it?

I've no real objections to you and what you call the Libtards slinging shit back and forth at each other. Just shows what you're here for.

I do, if you want to try and actually challenge me on that. The funny thing is, even if you were right and he hasn't actually made an apology, and democrats weren't calling him out on it, it STILL wouldn't change the fact that you're employing whataboutism in the place of a relevant argument. You do this because you can't actually address the point being made, so instead all you do is cry and flail when your fee-fees get hurt. It's okay, keep on crying, I'll keep on dismantling your brain-dead arguments
