Those look so good! When my diet is over, I'm going fly to the UK to get some of them......

They're not bad, I don't usually buy Nestle products but I think I can bend my rules in this instance. If you want a truly astonishing suggestion, I recommend Hotel Chocolat tasting boxes.

If you're ever in Amsterdam and you get the munchies, try the Eichholtz Deli on Leidestraat. They sell loads of American chocolates bars; Paydays, BabeRuths as well as Twixs and Monster Munch.

The best food on the 'dam for the munchies has to be a Rijstafel. You get a huge range of flavours. Awesome!

I was surprised that the Netherlands don't really do the big supermarkets. But there was a Co-op just down the street from my apartment in Rotterdam. Got addicted to packets of nougat they were selling.

Marijuana laws: New York 'to relax' drug's use

The US state of New York is planning to relax its marijuana laws to allow limited use by seriously ill patients, reports say.

Democratic Governor Andrew Cuomo - long opposed to the legalisation of medical marijuana - is to make the announcement this week, the New York Times says.

Twenty US states have already gone down the same road.

On Wednesday, Colorado became the first US state to allow shops to sell cannabis for recreational purposes.

Washington state is expected to allow the sale of marijuana later in 2014.

The drug is still illegal under federal law.

It's not right to deny sick people access to something that can help.

NY state already had decriminalized the drug though, at least. A cop caught me puffing a joint on the sidewalk in NYC and only gave me a dirty look.
That could've happened when it was criminally illegal too though.

I managed to score two second hand joints from some guys I met in a eat house in Venice Beach. After a chat about where we came from etc, they gave me their last bit of stash. Nice guys. We had it at the hotel later. We jammed into the toilet, turned the extracted fan on and puffed away. The smoke alarm never triggered so that was a success. A good time was had by all. Nice dudes in the States. I guess I would have done the same.

It's beginning to look like California is next. Public opinion has swung drastically towards full legalization since Colorado and Washington, and it is scheduled to be on the next ballot.

I have 2 marijuana possession convictions in NH, one for a joint. They took me to court for possession of 1 joint, to be smoked between 5 grown men.
