Don’t feel too flattered. You realize you’re going to take an ass kicking here, don’t you? You are about to tilt at windmills, for all the good it will do you.

Oh I see, tough guy. You're all going to type stuff that will show up on my screen, and presumably I'm going to read every last word of it all and get scared. OK, do what you must. Let me just get in the fetal position.

:coffee:

And by the way, I don't read long posts on forums written by people who mean nothing to me. It's a waste of time. So keep them short otherwise you're just talking to yourselves.

You're preaching to the choir.

I expect every rational member of this forum has stated this at some point in their many years here, PK. It's part and parcel of employing rational thinking, for which you also don't actually need to be knowledgeable or intelligent.

But then, atheists don't have a belief system that promises them some elevated position, no dogma that pertains to be from the ultimate font of all knowledge, no doctrinal certainty of which they feel obliged to defend. So it's understandable that atheists and agnostics don't pretend to knowledge they don't have.... that's the theist's purview.

It's easy sitting on the sidelines sniping though. Do you have anything worth saying here, anything that constitutes a positive contribution? Do you wish to stake out a piece of intellectual territory you're prepared to defend through evidence, reason and/or logic?

No, you're just trolling for a reaction.

You've not actually asked anyone to justify any position whatsoever. You've erected a few strawmen that were promptly knocked over, and that seems to have been the sum of your game as you've basically retreated into sniping already.

The burden of proof falls on the atheist.

No, it doesn't - by definition.
